Oh man.. the puppets are real, aren't they? We all thought it was just a game, but pretty soon unmarked packages will begin arriving at all our houses, containing a puppet version of a random poster's avatar... and instructions.
I'm on to you, Zoraida!
I hope its not our specific avatar. The Dead Rider would cause havoc all over my neighborhood...and i'm sure I would be to blame!

Thanks a lot. I guess im still hung on GW's in the grim dark future we don't want to hurt our own guys
Your local Commisar tends to disagree with this statement

Don't use hammers on iPods. It doesn't help them run easier.
It doesnt help with walk easier either.....

Which college in the homeland are you attending?

Also, Controlled Det is INCREDIBLE. You use it to say . . . blow up a Hunter leaving 3 Scrap counters . . . then have the Hoff blow up the 3 Scrap counters. Massive explosive fun!
So you found a use for the hunter then, eh?
-
Kidnap on its own it won't get you the win surely. It is only a quarter of the maximum VP's for a scrap, yes it can be easy to pull off against certain crews but it can't be the guaranteed win.
I guess I misspoke when I said win. i meant 2 easy points. I know its not going to win you the game, but its an easy thing to do to help you win the game.

I suggest that the key to fixing this annoyance is in you not playing the same crew with the same tactic. In war if you are predictable you will surely lose.
I guess my main complaint is no matter what crew I bring (I play Guild, Outcasts and Ressers), the Neverborn player always takes Kidnap. I've even asked some of the Neverborn players and they admit that its an easy scheme to pull off, so they take it, regardless of faction. Target 3 "weak" models in your opponents crew, focus on those 3....win.

How do they keep track of schemes at tournaments? Some schemes require you to list/note things secretly, is there a way to keep track of that?
In our tournaments, you write them down on a piece of paper, and stash it to the side. At the end of the game, hidden schemes are revealed.

yay excited! *pockets Fog* mwhahah i shall call you jeffery!
Awww, shucks. 2 more and she completes her kidnap scheme for the day.

Hiyar! Welcome :-) What faction do you choose? n what crew? *waves and offers sweets*
First Rule of Malifaux: Never take sweets from anyone offering them. They're most likely poisoned.
Welcome to the game

Why?
Maybe he was warning you of a speed bump....

Yep, we usually play all 6 rounds, unless someone tables their opponent by round 4, and then we generally give them 1 extra round to complete any schemes/strategies.
-
Lets hope its better than the 3 "sequels" that already exist...
-
At the store, we go around 1-2 hours a game.
Our tournaments are usually 90 mins a game.

Calhoun Ga?

Guild Austringers and Nino, as TheOneWhoFell stated earlier.

Bete Noire?

I will second Sam Hopkins. He's just too cool not to bring. I personally would try to include the Governor's proxy as a totem, but then again, I'm on the wall about Sonia's personal totem.
I also like bringing an Executioner, but then again, I like the big lug.
I hope this helps.

I got one!
I'll let everyone guess which it is.
On a side note, Thanks Eric! You rock.
-
I got one. Can you guess what it is?
Lucky
Its a pretty cool one.

Very Sad. That would be something I would bring up to the boss personally. Equal Treatment for Equal Employees and all that.

Does your workplace have a shower? I sometimes come earlier and grab another shower after something like that.

We need more Gremlins around here (imo)
More gremlins will make everything better.
Can you hear it coming?!
