I bought the Seamus crew box today as after reading the fluff i had to (he's like jack the ripper crossed with the joker,awsome bloke) So just wondering where to go with new models for him and whats the best way to use him? Cheers

Well i've been collecting malifaux for a couple of weeks now and really wana give the game a go (against someone other than my girlfiend that is,i'm sure she just humours me) So was wondering if there's any other malifaux players in Somerset, UK preferebly near casstle cary.

Cheers lamwyrd, i've also been told by a friend that if i get pandora no one will want to play me coz she's quite harsh. Is that true or is he just being odd coz he wants her?

Ok i've been playing malifaux for all of a week but im already hooked and want a second crew ( plus one for my girlfriend,any excuse to buy models:) ) Im torn between pandora or the dreamer for myself and ths showgirls or lilith for her. Just looking for general advice and ideas please?

Ok just a quick question, what is the best crew for a complete novice? As i think i've mentioned before i want a crew for my girlfriend to be able to use and the showgirls do seem a little complicated for a starting crew. Any and all advice welcome, cheers. Ps i shuold probably mention that i'll be using the Viktorias,probably not important but just in case

Well i just recived my malifaux rulebook and my first crew(Viktorias) yesterday,and all i hav to say is Wow! Its so refreshing and enjoyable to find a game system thats different from all the gw and pp stuff. dont get me wrong i love gw and pp,but it is nice to find such a quality game that doesnt follow the normal wargame rules. Also the fluff thats in the book is very good,to be honest the reason i usually start collecting a game/army/crew is becouse of what story i liked the most but with malifaux im spoilt for choice! Needles to say my second order of malifaux book/models is already on its way. All thats left to say is cheers Wyrd,and i hope i didnt babble to much

So I just recently started malifaux,but my closest gaming club is around an hour away. As such i've managed to convince my girlfriend to try playing against me. So I need to get her a crew,and the only one's she really likes the look off are collet and the showgirls. So was just wondering what the up and down sides of the showgirls are and where to start with them really. Any advice would be much welcomed. Cheers Karl

Cheers for the info. Do you know of any viktorias storys in any of the books/online chronicles? I am oone of those gamers that lets the fluff and models decide what i'm going to collect rather than whats the rudest thing on the board. Thanks again.

Hello everyone. I'm a long time gamer playing lots of gw and pp stuff but am really interested in starting malifaux. Is there anything anyone can advise with where to start? So far i've ordered the rulebook and would like to get a box set(maybe the Viktoria's) is this a good place to start for a bigginer? Cheers Karl
