I appreciate Wyrd explaining the whys behind this, however does this mean everytime the US "meta" whines about something enough a model gets screwed?
Just like when the UK "meta" requested changes or "whined" using your terminology regarding Jacob Lynch's Woke Up With a Hand upgrade: Final Debt Action . I never saw a problem with it the way it was originally but enough players from the UK meta did and it was Cuddled. Did that change make Jacob weak? I dont think so, and I believe the majority agree.

For the first time I can honestly say I'm disappointed in Wyrd. Levi was very well tested during the beta and balanced by you and the community. The fact that you are willing to ignore that makes me ashamed that I've been telling people how much different you were as a company.
My first reaction based on this statement and your 3 post history is you are Trolling.
Having said that, I will bite anyway.
No amount of play test can ever = 2+ years of actual table time not only at LGS around the world but all of the major tournaments around the world. Wyrd left Levi as is for years, gathering data and listening to the Malifaux community regarding their concerns. These concerns were not only from Levi opponents but from Levi players as well. Levi is still very good. I believe players will still win with him, maybe not quite as often. They will have to play him a little differently is all.

I am very happy that Wyrd addressed Levi and the Rat Engine in non Nihilist crews. I still think Levi is still near the cream of the crop even with his changes today. Players will have to use him a bit differently now. I look forward to playing against him and seeing some new tactics displayed by him and his crew other than channel x3 and shoot x3 for the majority of the turns.

A few questions on Siren Call;
Siren Call: Push target model it's WK towards this model. (it does not say up to it's WK, which implies the model needs to move some sort of distance)
A) Does a model targeted by the Siren Call have to actually push any amount of distance for it to work?
What if the targeted model is already in BTB with the Performer when it is targeted by Siren Call?
C) Does the FAQ Lure explanation about being in BTB also apply to Siren Call?
The following are taken from the FAQ as reference.
25) Q: If a model moves (or is Pushed, Falls, is Placed, etc) 0” (zero inches), does it count as having moved?
A: No. Same answer for Pushing, Falling, Placement, etc.
7) Q: If a model with the Lure Action targets a model in base contact, can Lure be used to move the targeted model, so long as it ends in base contact with the model taking the Lure Action?
A: No. A model which is already in base contact may not be moved any further with the Lure Action.

The emissaries look real nice. Titans are cool too!
I was hoping my current Avatars from M1E would suffice but I guess I will be buying me some emisarries /cry

Wow! so there are 8 total prizes, if we get 16 people to show up you have 50% chance to leave with a $20 + prize...
I think you are being too generous there Bret!
Yes!! I am a generous soul ya know? You are also generous my friend by donating your 1st place mystery box set from the Draxtar tourney this past weekend to my raffle prize support for this upcoming event! Ha!
To be clear on a few things concerning this event.
The strategy and deployment types are the exact ones being used at Gen Con for their Friday 50SS tournament qualifier. The schemes for that event will not be known until the day of so I just randomly picked schemes for this event.
Also, players who finish 1st - 3rd at my event will not be eligible for the raffle prizes. That way more prizes are spread out to more players. In past events the gift certificates for 1st - 3rd have usually been $50, $30, $20 on average. The more people spend above their $15 entrance fee at the register the more money I get back for gift certificate prizes.
See you guys July 9th!

P. 21:
"Charge (Cg): A model performing the charge action moves up to this far TOWARDS its target [...]"
Thats what the conversation is about. So actually you have to charge towards the target and katadder isnt right here. I have to say that I overlooked this all the time playing, too.
You are incorrect. The rules for charge is on page 39 of the big book.
Page 21 is a brief explanation of each stat on a models card. I understand that within that explanation the word 'towards" was used but that was just an english word used to describe where the model goes when it is performing a charge action. It was not used in that sentence as a game term.
They probably should have used the word "move" instead so that it perfectly matches the actual rules explanation of a Charge on page 39, Move this model up to it's Cg in a straight line.
You do not have to move directly toward the target with a Charge Action.

The rules for summoning on page 51 (60 in manual):
"A Crew may never exceed a model’s Rare limit through summoning. If, for example, an Action would summon a Rare 1 model into a Crew when the Crew already has a copy of that model on the table, the effect that summons the model fails."
Note the "...a copy of that model on the table..." bit.
The above rules quote is the answer.
Rare = X is for two things. Hiring no more than the X amount and summoning no more than the X amount onto the table.
for example; when I summon 2 Hanged which are rare 2, I cannot summon anymore until one of them dies. If both are killed on a given turn I can resummon 2 more, etc.
If I summon 2 Hanged and both live for the entire game then I can never summon another Hanged for the rest of the game.
That is why Ikiryo has her (0) action to remove herself from the table. So she can be resummoned through Malevolence again during the same turn. It costs the Kirai player resources to do so.
Another example is the Dreamer constantly summoning in Coppelious and or Lelu and Lelitu. Those models have a Rare limit and they can keep coming back as long as they keep dying and the Dreamer has the resources to keep summoning them back in.

Hello,
I got a little confused about this ress upg. The ability says i can draw a card once per turn. Does it mean each model with this ability can draw a card once per turn or is it really just one card per turn per player?
Thank you for answers
Take Back the Night: All Friendly Spirit and Horror models within 10 inch Aura gain the following ability: "We Are The Night: Once per Turn, after reducing an enemy model to 0 Wd with an Attack Action, draw a card."
Each model that legally gains this ability and meets the requirements of the ability gained can draw 1 card once per turn.

We had a fantastic turn out of 12 participants! Not bad for a Tuesday night eh? Thanks to everyone who attended.
Results......
1st Place - Joe Deheve - Neverborn (Lilith) $45 Games Plus Gift Certificate
2nd Place - Stephen Kulin - Ten Thunders (Shen Long) $25 Games Plus Gift Certificate
3rd Place - Robin Winsauer - Arcanist (Ramos) $15 Games Plus Gift Certificate
Everyone at the event also received their Tournament Guilder Poker Chip.
There were 4 raffle prizes (2 Mystery boxes, Gracie & Lelu/lelitu box sets) won by Eric, Matt, John & larry.
Joe does much better when he actually remembers to hire his Emissary at the Emissary Event
See you guys next time for my Saturday July 9th tournament. Info for that upcoming event to be posted soon.

Shame the character isn't female. When I heard the name I thought it was a reference to Parker from Leverage. Iike the ability in concept, but outside of playing against Colette I see that ability being potentially way too good, depending on what's on the back of that card. Being able to take away up to 4 enemy scheme markers ( and thus invalidating all the AP spent getting the scheme marker there for the opposing player) and add them to your own pile, with the minor repositioning, all for no AP, suit requirements, or TN seems really good to me. Really hope I'm wrong about it or somethi on the back makes that make more sense to me.
This is where choosing the right schemes out of the 5 choices you have available will be key against parker. Most often there are two schemes that dont require markers to be placed on the table. You can always kill Parker too
You mention Colette who's crew has been dropping them like rain falling from the sky for years, most of the time for a zero action. Now we have someone who has a hard counter to those Shenanigans.
Hit him with Whispers from Beyond a few times to soften him up. He wont be around for long Fetid

I like the cape. Gives him some flair and reminds me of Clint Eastwood back in the day of spaghetti westerns.
With access to Survivalist, 14 wds and Df/Wp 6 I think he is plenty survivable. Add in his ability to gain SS through out the game and maybe a Librarian and I dont see him being removed too often.
Maybe I can now dust off Sue.
