  1. Wowza, that seems like a pretty solid buff to hand out for Gremlins in particular with their low Df and Wd stats.
  2. Nice! What are the other 2 things that the 6" pulse can do?!
  3. Wow, he is a pretty solid beatstick. Me likes Does he retain "Take a Swig" or will the Whisperer's "Sooet Nothings" and Soulstones be the only way to heal him up?
  4. /boggle I'd be so afraid of breaking all of that just by looking at it.
  5. I'm pretty sure the MRP (Most Recent Printing) of the card trumps the book.
  6. What kind of melee prowess and general durability does he have? I thought I'd heard he was Hard to Wound and has Armor, but at what values and with how many Wds and Df? Is his Boomer the same, and what about any melee abilities?
  7. That's pretty awesome. So he retains the ability to summon both Piglets and Bayou Gremlins in Avatar-form, both of which seem easier to accomplish (though the BG summoning is reactive rather than active).
  8. Now don't tease, what's it do?!
  9. That's extraordinarily awesome if he can. I mean, just having the option to keep them is really nice, even if it isn't always used. Does his manifestation requirements involving "Take a Swig" specify it has to be used on Gremlins? Or can he heal Skeeters to fulfill the requirement?
  10. If you like both Gremlin crew boxes, I'd recommend starting with Ophelia. Her box has a more complete package to play with than Som'er's does. You don't NEED the other stuff to play Som'er but with just some Bayou Gremlins and a War Pig, you're not gonna have much in the way of options or synergy out of the box with Som'er. However, if and when you decide to get Som'er definitely start with his box as the 4x Bayou Gremlins and War Pig at a discount over their blisters is a great deal still and you'll use all of them routinely.
  11. Is Lenny's Cb rating any better than normal Gremlins (4)? Also, does granting armor to nearby Gremlins require an action, or is it constant?
  12. Updated the main post with some spoilage info. Given his manifestation requirements and the general abilities he seems to grant, my guess is that his Avatar version will mostly change Som'er's style of play by forcing him to stick with his crew more than his Master form. I've found as a Master he can tend to play rather statically, being a summoning "portal" in the back of the board while throwing his horde of minions forward. Personally, I love that change of pace a LOT. Gremlins are a very synergistic group for the most part. You've got Som'er, Hog Whisperer, Slop Haulers, Taxidermist, and now Lenny providing utility/synergy/buffing to your "basic" Bayou Gremlin and Pig minions. It seem snow Som'er has a greater incentive to move around with the group than he did previously, because once you Manifest you're going to want him near the front lines to provide his buffs and be a beatstick, rather than sitting back and summoning constantly.
  13. Sounds like he'll make a good screener for the typical "gremlin patrol" for Som'er; usually a Whisperer or Taxidermist followed by a Slop Hauler or 2 and their associated pigs. What kind of Wd stat are we looking at with Hard to Wound? Also, any additional details on the area and potency of his Armor buff to gremlins? What does his pet Crocodile do? Seems like he'll mostly be another utility buffer with some decent ranged, ya?
  14. There is an Avatar Somer topic in Outcasts section. If you could spoil some details on him and the other new gremlins I think many would appreciate it
  15. Any news on abilities of aSomer, McTavish or the other new gremlin minions?
  16. If you look in in THIS thread you can see the original sculptor's green of her model. It seems somehow in the pictures we've seen one of her arms and her head are positioned differently than originally intended. Whether or not that is due to assemblage or some other kind of change I've no idea. But, the green sculpt actually looks pretty good IMO.
  17. It shows for me? Try this from @Cadilon though: http://twitpic.com/61fsrq
  18. I actually prefer the new alternate Perdita compared to the old one. She's got a lot more attitude going on it it, and she's not dressed like a cowgirl stripper.
  19. So far all we know is that his Manifestion requirements are along the lines of: 1.) Perform 3 healing flips on Gremlins using "Take a Swig". 2.) Inflict 4 Wd on enemy models with "Pull My Finger". Anyone have any further information on what aSom'ers ability/spell list and statlines are looking like? What does our pretty Peaches do? Additionally he apparently has an upgraded version of "Pull My Finger" called "Swamp Gas" that, with the correct trigger, can summon Piglets as well. Edit: aSom'er can keep his Giant Mosquito totems while Manifesting by discarding 2 Control Cards per totem retained.
  20. I think it has a lot to the do with the positioning of her left arm. Pulling it back that way gives her an almost fearful/awe-inspired look as compared the NYG Tight End pose seen on the Wyrd Online store.
  21. I don't think this does anything to salvage my opinion of the model.
  22. I'm not *that* familiar with Levi; but would starting with that list make manifesting more difficult at all?
  23. Yeah, the healing is simple. I usually make 3 healing flips within the first 2 turns. And it's not hard to get off Pull My Finger, but it will be hard to get it off in a position where you're not greatly endangering yourself.
  24. More... aSom'er: The manifestion requirements for "Pull My Finger" seems to state the 4 damage dealt must be against enemy models making it much harder to pull off. Also, my friend said he has to heal "gremlins" with "Take a Swig", so it's possibly that healing up his initial totem Skeeters might not help you in that department (though given you lose the skeeters when you manifest you might not take them both anyway).
