I'll be running demos for M2E from when the store opens at 1pm until at least 6pm. I will have at least Lady Justice, Seamus, Zoraida, and Rasputina as options to try out. I will also have a spare copy of the rulebook available for anyone who's interested in perusing the pages.

If at least 8 people show up for a demo, I will be giving away a Guild's Judgement box set to one random person. If the number of people that show up reaches an undisclosed number, I will also have a Mother of Monsters box set to give away.

Neverland Games is offering 20% off of any Malifaux merchandise purchased on the day of the demos. This applies to in stock items as well as orders.

That's a 5-4 win for LBR, when Land Grab is code for Tag and Lilith is "it". Mr.Lynch didn't much care for being tagged with a greatsword.

If you already have Viks, Seamus works well to demo against them. The fact that they're one of the few living crews in the game means that you can show how Seamus works instead of going "well usually Terrifying would do this, but..."

Why not? you have to do it with almost every other tourney

Actually most tournaments I go to are "painted is preferred, but not necessary" including ones hosted by nix.

But from an equal footing standpoint, it would be a barrier to those hosts that have tight schedules and can't paint as often.

Besides, isn't this to determine the best player? Not the most fully painted collection?

I think we're all forgetting about the best piece in the game, the Pigapult!

Also possible rule can only play with painted models... Meaning if you don't own it and it ain't painted can play it. Just a weird thought. You can post pic of crew in game thread.

Aside from Cuddling the grow list I used to run, new Hamlin is still very powerful. I'll do a tactica on him on LBR once I've played a few more games.

Basically, I use him as a very lethal scalpel, drawing models off to the side and using Fate is Meaningless to more or less guarantee a one hit kill

The bigger problem I have is my two co-hosts are afraid of the internet, Vassal, and the forums. I think they may actually be peeing themselves with trepidation on being involved in something like this.

I was thinking of both so there'll be podcast bragging rights and also individual bragging rights within the casts too. We don't want Dom getting dragged down by Craig, it wouldn't be fair.

If you have an oven fan, putting a box on your stovetop with the fan on works rather well. I miss the fan from my old apartment...

Actual model height doesn't matter, that's why all models have a Ht stat. As for base size, the Ice Golem is on a 40mm base.

Achievement days are very beginner friendly, so if you haven't learned how to play yet, feel free to join us and learn! Show up, grab your achivement sheet, and play as many games as possible before the end of the night!

The obvious winner of book 4 is leveticus!

As if he didn't have some awesome crew builds before! Rail golem AND izamu and Yin in 1 list? Go for it!

Rail Golem and Yin are two different special forces, so not a legal list, would be fun though.

I've found Lilitu to be the most effective link buddy. Irresistible means no free target and the healing is definitely beneficial, not to mention being able to Lure models into Pandora's threat range.

Tannen can be nasty, but definitely situational, haven't had much luck Tannen Bombing in my experience.

It was, however Drain Souls has been errated to say Non-Master now, so it's no longer possible.
