you could order in some wood bases, but I've seen some modelers use small popsicle sticks, cut them to size, and then paint them. or you could green stuff it?

I don't know if one could really make a living from it, but I guess you could if you had a steady clientele and were able to get the word out about your work. I've done some commissions and it helps brings some money in though.

They look really nice! but something that I've found that helps make them look even better are washes that you put on before any hilighting is done. it would help bring out details such as Lady J's cleavage, and facial struture. Again, you did a great job. I still need to finish my Lady J, so you are a step a head of me.
