  1. Well, it took a few more days than I thought it would, but I finally got the rest of my painted minis photographed... And bought and painted many, many more... So, without further ado, the rest of my collection as it currently stands: And, to cap it all off, my collection in the foam I'm using to carry it right now: Magius out.
  2. I'm working on a mod for a somewhat odd take on the Teddy miniature. I had inherited a large number of miniatures from a friend not long ago, and one of the miniatures is a small teddy bear (about the same size as Kade) that I want to use as a proxy for Teddy (either alongside an actual model for larger games, or on its own for smaller, non-tourney games). However, I'm kind of stuck on what I want to do with it: do I leave it as is, and present it as a normal teddy bear on the asylum floor (the theme for the Pandora box I've just picked up), build up something for it to be sitting on (shelves, tables, or something of that sort), or as part of some sort of aetheric entity (which, honestly, without access to clear resin/plastic, I have no idea how I'll pull off)? Personally, I kinda like the simple solution (use the model as is), but I can understand that some people would be rather irritated by having a size 1 model represent a size 3 character. PS: A link to the mini in question: http://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/teddy/latest/02887 It's the one furthest to the right. Magius out.
  3. I haven't done a lot with this, but what I've found works well is using a significantly brighter base color for the part of the model that's supposed to glow, and then toning it down as the glow diffuses across the rest of the model. Personally, I use a black primer, so anything I want to have a glowing effect (fire or similar), I first paint over with white paint, then drybrush the areas where the light hits with the white paint, then I paint over that with the base colors for the model/glowy bit - usually going light->dark on the glowing parts instead of my usual dark->light. 4. Well, a couple weeks ago, I finally decided to look over the rules for this game, and... decided to jump in head first, as I usually do. I have 4 starter sets purchased and painted (a bit short on pictures, as my camera died while taking the pictures... I'll try to post the rest tomorrow): Lady Justice, Perdita, the Viktorias, and Marcus (this is the one that's a bit shy on pictures...). Only one shot came out kinda blurry, so I hope you all enjoy: By the way, if anyone's interested, the background setting for these pictures was Worldworks Games Streets of Himmelveil and Thoumonts TLX products. Magius out.
