Even "back in the day" it seems like it was really hard win games if your plan was just to swarm your opponent with summoned models. While concentrating on the tokens and getting new models the opponents would focus on the strategies and schemes and pull out too far ahead in points.

It's up on iTunes already. Thanks guys!

They seem custom fit to deal the problems I've having, where the belles and punk zombies are too far back to do anything. With the crooligans up to take objectives and then the doxies moving forward to back them up. As a bonus the crooligans creepy will make seduction and undress easier to go off.

They're good but you never know for sure what you're going to get.
Now, I love them and they go into almost every crew but I do see them fall flat a lot. Cheap soul stone models will often be used to try and trigger more then one marker. If it goes off it's even money if they do damage or force the model to end its activation with a paralyze.
Now if they're running an elite army, they'll be more hesitant to just blow through them, so they do have they're use. A good example would be to but the markers around the treasure objective, or even around your master after it has activated if the strategy is Deliver Message.
As the game goes on I'll rarely summon more or worry about keeping them alive, since I'm summoning to bring in more purpose built models like Punk Zombies, Flesh Golems or Necropunks. The crooked men just don't seem purpose built to complete strategies and schemes which I feel causes some people to pass them over in place of other models.

1. I like the dead rider for the purposes you mentioned. Hope to hear how it works for you.
2.I'd try to avoid taking the other constructs since Hoffman can just take them over and then they cannot activate for the turn. I'd stick to the standby of Punk Zombies with Flurry so you can 1 pt them to death.
3.Another way to go would be to take a bunch of canine remains. When they die, raise them up as MZ so he can work on killing those over and over again while you have other models achieve your objectives.
4. If you don't mind Mercenary models, I like the convict gunslinger (again, number of attacks) and desperate mercenaries. The desperates are there to tie up, die and then come back as something more useful. And Taelor with her Relic hammer. Just kills constructs.
5. Bete Noir to use her knives to slow or paralyze the constructs or Hoffman himself. He has crummy Df, her Cb is double it.

All I can say is that I need more mindless zombie models now.

I've only played the with one, once. I used reactivate and speed on a vulture to deliver Killjoy ridiculously far on the first turn. If I remember correctly I could have gone into the other deployment zone but I had to go in at an angle so Marcus couldn't get the treasure counter on the first turn.
I could also imagine using reactivate to make Deliver message easier, and letting a punk zombie slice and dice itself to death so it still creates a marker.

I'm making a case for my rezzer crew and I'm wondering if anyone knows the approximate size of the avatars. From the pics it looks like I'd need a 4 inch square a 5 inch tall slot. Anyone have any idea?
