  1. I ended up painting him purple. I started with a medium purple, with darker wash and highlighs, followed by lots of blackwashes o give him his rubbery "bruised" feeling, spotting the wounds on his body with pink, followed by a few purple ink washes to blend the wounds with the skin. The bone I just used straight bleached bone with a blackwash, and the wrappings I went with white to a bleached bone wash or two followed by a light blackwash to make it look filthy. It worked out nice! Although, he did sorta go from "care bear pink" to "california raisin" to "grape kool-aid". As a matter of fact, his nickname among me and my opponents is Kooljoy- oh yeah! My camera was stolen earlier this week, so I won't have pictures up for a while. Might be able to get one of my friends to take some though.

  2. Woot woot!

And to Zethal- I do apologize for my last post, it was a bit snippy. I don't think he meant to call you a douchebag- there's a difference between people who play to win and "cheese" players, who'll use ANY combo, no matter how broken- i.e. Akuma in SSF II. I can understand being upset over the slight, though. I think we should all just drop it, and sit with glee for the new mana-errata being dropped from the heavens.

Again, i apologize for being a bit of a dick there. I broke my first rule! *shame*

  3. It was the pre-built terraClips boards. And no he wouldn't. The Waif just dies is she's more than 10" from a active Levi at the end of her activation. And my opponent agreed, and when I did it, called Sketch over, who asked if we had agreed that closed-in areas had roofs (He was playing Lilith). After the affirmative, the reply was in the line of "sucks to be you." Grade-A Provalone Cheese, I'll admit, but I did get my ass handed to me in a slaughter match the next round because Levi kept counting as 10 points, 10 points, 10 points...

  4. Yeah, but the 6" jump was major shenanigans. Really easy to leapfrog waifs behind impassable terrain and whatnot. As a matter of fact, I've got a sneaking suspicion that some of this might be from a certain sneaky Levi player at Gen Con hiding a Waif in a roofed-over room with no doors or windows, thus stopping his opponent from ever having even a hope of killing Levi... *innocent Whistle*

  5. Epic rage is epic?

And no one called you a douchebag. Stop strawmanning. It doesn't help your argument, which has some very good points wrapped burrito-style in spite.

I do think the errata since book 2 could have been handled better. We havent sen much of Wyrd since gen con, and it hasn't helped the mess any. But I've got no doubt they'll fix things. They've been good so far, I'm willing to show a little trust. I've seen how busy they really are. I say we calm down and just relax. The new errata will be out soon.

  6. Jesus, guys, I can't leave you alone for ONE DAY? I come back, it goes from 3 pages to 16! And somehow Marowak Genocide and Ditto rape-murder got crammed in there. I swear, I haven't been this confused since that time with the Twinkies and the fish-hooks.

... Incidentally, Marowak Genocide would be a AWESOME band name.

Also, final thought: It's "cuddle", as in the toy line, not "nurf". Sorry. :-P

  7. I believe that the Poison Counters reset at the end of the round, unless Conduit ends/is reapplied. So it'd go:

Round 1: No Damage, 2 PC at End of Round

Round 2: 2 Damage, 1 PC (If Conduit ends) at ernd of Round, 2 PC (If Conduit remains) at end of round

    and so on.

So in essence, no, the Poison Counters don't stack. I think it's like Armor and whatnot- different sources stack, but not the same source. i could be wrong, of course.

  8. I usually auto-include Rusty Alyce at 8 and a Canine remains for the 2nd Waif at 2, which leaves me 25 SS. leaves room for a 8-10 SS heavy hitter (My favorites are a Rider, Jack Daw, or Killjoy), and 12-15 SS for utility models like Necropunks, Belles, or more midrange combat models like Punk Zombies. I usually end up with 2-3 SS for the game and a good mix of models.

  9. Having the Voodoo doll next to you allows you to strike the model it's connected to as if it was next to Zorianda. So it works exactly like a normal Poison 2 weapon. You strike them, they take the poison counter, the voodoo doll never gets poisoned. I believe.

Not... Quite what he's asking, i think. the way Conduitworks is that when you cast Conduit, the targeted model receives Poison (2). If you Conduit another model, the Conduit to the first target ends. He was asking if the Poison counters go away when Conduit ends. And the Vodoo Doll doesn't allow (1) Strikes, it allows LOS to the Conduited model no matter what. Doesn't mean Zoraida can strike the model at all.

  10. No problem! Lord knows I have questions, ha ha ha. Don't get me wrong- Zoraida is a powerful lady. She's ridiculously hard to pin down and kill- Proper Manners and her ability to transform and fly across the board is amazing. Using her with Stitched Togethers is a great crew for 30-40 SS.
