Sadly for me, it says that my Shiping label was created December 17, 2014, 10:24 pm and alas this is where it has remained

 

7 Days since the label was created and no movement. 

 

Did anyone else have this issue

Mine was like this as well and only updated when it was in Guangzhou, China already.

So I basically paid twice the amount for it to get here but I'm happy that I have my stuff just in time for Christmas! 

90.00+ USD in Shipping + around 70.00 USD for Customs Duty = almost more than the cost of my order! 

(Though my smoke Tara crew is broken off the sprues and Karina's head is in a separate bag. Is this normal? Still have to double check if anything's missing.)

Oof!!! Gotta fix that. Formatting is uh, just ripped off from Ratty's.

Personally, I like the way it was meant to be played, with a single full activation and another pseudo-resummon.

 

The Student-Alyce combo seems too reliant on the right high card to be worth the trick really, since I don't feel Alyce offers a ton to Tara's lists otherwise, and I guess Nix is fine, but I prefer to play theme-heavy and another model that relies on incorporeal for defense sounds like it's asking for trouble.

 

And yes, I think it's a very viable tactic- I don't take Tara without Karina now, and it's making me enjoy playing a model that's now a viable but kinda' risky model instead of just trash.

Same here. Still no confirmation and used FedEx because I don't trust the local postal service. (90+ USD for the shipping!)

 

Got so excited I accidentally deleted my invoice as well.

These will be my first crews after getting a 1.0 Pandora box and never got to play or paint!

(I guess I'm diving back in to a game I never played.)

Since I think the original author of this thread hasn't updated his card recently and the download link is down, I decided to make a similar reference card.

I wonder if this is okay:

Reduce it to 3.5 x 2.5 inches (6.3 x 8.8 cm) so it will fit a regular trading card sleeve.

I can't print mine right now so I would like feedback for any revisions needed from people who will print this out.

I also require some input on what to put on the card back.

Ehh, Yakuza is not fun at all. Russian mafia faction or Italian mafia faction... or white supremacist faction wouldn't take you very far, would it?

If you make a game you play Yakuza in, you pretty much ensure normal stores in Japan wouldn't want to distribute it (some of the top Sumo-trainers in the country have just been forced to resign after allowing two Yakuza members to watch the games).

On the other hand if you go with some Kabuki-like gangster-heroes that would work pretty great and resonate with Japanese quite a bit.

Yakuza have remained in popular culture though. There are still Yakuza in comics, movies and video games (one series taking you to play the life of one, and is actually called Yakuza in Western shores).

While the Japanese generally don't want to be in the presence of Yakuza (or anyone with lots of tattoos lol), they remain in their place as a pop culture icon.

We had all our model and cards etc on display and some small handout with important info such as web site etc.

We had heaps of people come and have a look, pick up and examine the models and read the cards. We also explained how the game worked and gave some examples of card play.

If we had had some stock we probably would have sold quite a bit of stuff !

Hopefully this may get a few more people playing down south. The goal is to start to have some tournaments and a regular meeting at OMTS where people can come and have a game.

Yup you get to draw two additional cards during your draw if Alyce is within range.

Malifaux is the HOTTEST game ever.

I think they actually errata'ed that (p4: Declare Target, then Check Range). I don't have the rulebook on me right now so I could be wrong.

Oh wow, that just opens up really messed up tactics with Leveticus. As if he already had problems dying.

I didn't even look at the errata for the rules haha! Just the individual abilities of the characters.

I then realise that Levi still has 2-3 wounds and won't die at the end of turn - whoops! Fortunately, Rusty Alyce solves the conundrum with a timely Clockwork seeker strike at Leveticus, killing him.

You can't declare your own master as a target for a Strike; right? (p.54)

Other than that, fun stuff.
