Flipside Shindig
Despite their difference the Masters of Malifaux aren't always just trying to kill each other.
Sometimes they just get together for a brew, some banter and maybe a few boardgames.
Presenting the Flipside Shindig. Come along to Flipside Café in Sunderland on May 23rd at 11:00am to play everyone's favourite story encounter.
Meet some new people, settle a few grudges, play some games all while enjoying a great coffee.
Flipside Café
26b Stockton road
Sunderland
Tyne & Wear
SR1 7AQ
The café is literally 2 minutes walk from the bus station and a car park which costs about £2 for all day parking and about 5 minutes walk from the train station.

That's a lotta hair!
Cool model

Thank you. It's been fun painting Malifaux models again.
Sim 29 (which I'm using as a desolation engine) I painted in a day. He was a doddle and a joy to paint with so many textures already on the model.
Thank you again, I'm really happy with how Vanessa came out. So much so that I'm picking up the Viks boxed set to carry the theme through the other sisters.
Lazarus was another doddle to paint, I went for my tried and trusted oxidised bronze technique and that was about 85% of the model done.

I've chased up the organisers and updated the list with the latest list of entrants
Greg, we've got 50ss games on the Sunday, I suspect that 50ss on the Saturday might be too much of a squeeze time wise
-
That's the most up-to-date list I've received from the organisers.
The organisers are putting on a bunch of activities/events (plus open gaming) on the Saturday night which will be available for the ticket holders only.
-
Thank you.
I've got several plans for 'fun' prizes that will be awarded throughout the two days for various things.
-
I figured that was the case.
It does mean there'll be a greater chance to win one of the 'Mystery Boxes' I have in my prize box.

At current numbers Masters of the Proper North will not be going ahead.
It would be just Quest for the Mojo (Sat)
And Enforcers of North (Sun)

So it is written... August 22nd, Sunderland, 50ss, 3 round tournament, OPEN FACTION!
in UK
Posted
Hi folks,
I'm happy to announce my next tournament
So it is written...
This will be taking place on the 22nd of August back at the good ol' venue of St. Annes Church hall
Worhamma
St. Anne’s Church Hall
Hylton Road
Sunderland
SR49AA
This will be a 3 round event set at 50ss for each game.
Lunch will be provided, as well as a bacon sandwich on arrival.
There is a maximum of 32 places for the tournament.
Here's the twist
This is an open faction event, there is no requirement to declare to the TO which factions the player intends to use through the day.
At the start of each round, players will announce which faction they are taking to their opponent. And note it on their respective scoresheets. They will then open the sealed envelope which the TO has provided. Inside the envelope will be a piece of paper listing the deployment type, strategy and schemes available for this game.
Cool, huh?
Entry price for the tournament if £15, and this includes your lunch.
Pre-payment should be made via PayPal (as a GIFT) to sales@worhamma.com.
Only pre-paid entrants will be permitted to the event.
The rules pack is available here
