  1. The poor little piggie is killed, thus tirggering "It Goes Pop", would then take the Bacon Bomb and would still be considered "killed", not sac'd. If the poor little piggie takes the Bacon Bomb action while it's still in play (as either its own action or forced to do so by another model), after resolving the effects of Bacon bomb it would then be sacrificed and not considered killed as described by the action. Stuffed piggies that are killed by other models are considered killed, drop CC and give VP for strats and schemes. Stuffed piggies that deliberately take the Bacon Bomb action or are foreced to by other models, do not drop CC as they are sac'd. That's how I see it. The sacrifice after is for those models still in play, so you don't get a CC to summon a fresh piggie to start the process over again.

  2. Like most have said, some people just dont like change. Every master/model is a complete re-write from their 1.5 incarnation, which I think threw most people for a serious loop during the beta. I think most people expetced a Malifaux 2nd Edition sooner than later but, with little changes to rules here and there and to bring sub-par models up in power/bring uber poweful masters back down to size. What we ended up with was a completely different game, in a sense. A lot of masters lost signature abilities in favor of another that was just better/had easier rules to play with. M2E has also lost a lot of it's "complexity" to become a much more simple game to play and understand. Some people liked the fact that every model had many little key abilities/triggers. If you look at the 1.5 card for the Day Dream, it has like somewhere around 12-13 rules listed on it...ITS A 2SS TOTEM!! Most minions/totems only have about 5-8 rules and abilities listed now, such a huge contrast. Edition changes can be hard on the "old guard". I for one used to be a devote GW (mostly WFB) player, but I haven't played a game in over a year and a half now due to edition changes. It's going to happen. In my opinion, its a much better game, you just can't convince everyone!

  3. What are people typically running with Ulix? Obviously its a pig domminant play style, but how much of what (Boars, Piglets, Warpigs) are people finding useful? Thanks!

  4. I'd like to see a Thief/Street Rat kind of master, like a man of the common folk, fighting against the oppression of the Guild and M&SU. Would probably need to be straight Outcast.

Also, a dual Neverborn/Outcast master that uses photography as a weapon, like one of those vintage cameras. Perhaps the character found a device (the camera) that sealed away a Tyrant entity, and when he uses the camera it traps the souls of those it photographs (whether knowingly or otherwise).

  5. I can only see this being an issue in a McMourning crew, really, where models take more damage from poison than normal. If a model with HtK has more than one wound remaining, poison wouln't reduce it below 1 wound anyway, because poison only does one wound then reduces its poison amount by one. If it has one wound remaining, then suffers damage from poison, it would go to Malifaux heaven. Don't really see the issue.

  6. My persective of the Chompy fluff is that he's became rather happy living in the world of dreams. As long as there are those of the "living" variety, he will always have a source to his power (feasting on the dreams of the living). Dreamer sort of put him in a wierd place, due to his ability to manipulate dreams better than he could ever think possible. My feeling, is that he's attatched him self to the Dreamer, only to keep an eye out, so that he (Dreamer) doesn't become too powerful and ascend, thus one day absorbing Chompy of all of his power.

  7. Not really a fan of the only scheme as Assasinate, as I think it promotes such a different approach to the game than their should be, but for s's and g's:

    Outcasts:

Taylor (not sure what her cache is off the top of my head)

    - Oathkeeper

    Convict Gunslinger

    2x Ronin

  8. I don't think well see anything "new" for a while (at least a year or so). Malifaux needs to settle on in with all of it's current models, before we start adding more peices to the puzzle. Master wise, we already have a lot of choices with many different themes that make them individual. Adding in new masters with the already 7 available options (and I feel it's too many as is) could really dilute the game. I'd like to see more upgrades, strats/schemes, and campaign uptions before we see new masters. Adding in new minion/henchman models however, is always something I'd like to see. Some masters could really benefit from more minion/henchmen to flesh out their themes!!
