I recently picked up the ophelia box set, and yesterday I based them all. So i decided to paint my first gremlin model

Any comments are always appreciated.

Being pretty sure doesn't mean you're right.

Taking a henchman with special forces ability takes off the two models only restriction. Even if he (or she in this case) is taken as Henchman.

It's under page 35 in Rising Powers RB.

I'm a beginning player who posts what he believes, and askes for correction if needed (hey I even mentioned the pages xD)

I have been running 35ss games with the following crew.

Somer

Ophelia 8ss

Rami 6ss

Pere 5ss

4x Bayou Gremlin 8ss

2x Skeeters 4ss

4ss cache

With two soulstone users the cache has been important. For an upcoming tourney I get an additional 5 ss, so I believe I will hire a slop hauler as well since proxies are allowed.

I'm pretty sure this list is illegal because Somer can only hire 2 Special forces (Kin) models (see page 34 of RP)

The judge in particular is stunning, can't wait to see more.

Move the swarm near Lilith and make it's two free attacks (we're ignoring Disappear for the purpose of this experiment), then scatter. If you positioned the swarm right, you should be able to put two of the spiders in btb with Lilith. Ramos' companion carries over to the little spiders, who are all slow.

Does companion really carries over to the little ones? Can someone please give me any proof of this, because I know some people will ask serious questions about that action XD

I always turn on the radio and see painting as something to relax (like waking with the dog) I also read something, or work on my RPG campaign when the paint is drying... This is why I'm such a freaking slow painter...

I really hate painting with a deadline (like a tournament) I usally have to finisch 10 models in the last week, and they always look like crap!

This is probably a bad technique when you're playing an Ork army, but the result stands!

I'll probably use grey for most of the Malifaux minis I'll paint. The big exceptions I can think of are Ramos and the spiders and possibly the Ortegas.

What primer would you then use on Ramos/The Ortegas?

I am Fabian. I'm 20 year old land-surveying student from Belgium. I play in a club in Ghent called the thunderbolts, and 50% of the players here picked up a box set and a rulebook (of Malifaux obv. xD)

While waiting for my order, I thought I could read some things on this forum
