in general its up to the players in friendly matches, wich should give no problems normally
tournament wise its up toe the organisers, simple as that
-
as for mushroom, the head are pretty wide, so if they get in to deep make them more colourfull, red and white, and they still go noticed
-
-
that it will
the big roof and little roof are one detachable piece
-
love it, only that one huge mushroom keeps pulling my eye away from the whole thing
but that may be just me
-
the door on the smaller on has to be that big, thats were the train goes in for loading/ unloading/ repairwork
the holes for windows and normal door wern't cut yet
i switched roof after that, used the roof, the same one, not another one, same size, on the smaller building
looked waaay better
-
so i did a smaller one
but i didnt liked the roof
-
that, my man, was gonna be the union building, with indoor and outdoor levels to fight in
but it was too big and had to be scrapped, 3 days of work down the loo, but at least i can show the pic
i took element from this one i liked and transferred them on a lower building
-
aaaaand to get back to the subject at hand
look scenery!!!

Just so you'd know. The keeper turned to tabletop gaming after his gf asked to end his bodybuilding career, just after he bought himself a plane and got a pilots licence. He can kick ass around the world

First criticism. The Switch is at waaay to steep of an angle... Think more like 20 degrees as opposed to 45... The train would just kind of die...
So true, but we had to make a sacrifice for the sake of creativity, at the normal angle the switch became waaay to long and we would have to give up on some buildings (wich were to awsome and i didnt want the switch to steal to much focus)
I did make a piece the same length to replace the switch and just have a single track
But, i did base the tracks on existing measurements. But didnt find the right shape of rails in the right size as well so they will be of a little bit as well
And this is malifaux, haphazard turns should be kinda common
-
now for a little bit of railroad
-
that looks gnarly
-
yeah
we officially made the top 10 of most viewed posts in the miniature matters categorie and we are only half way there

...im just waiting for a chance to let my perdita, who is under the balcony shoot at the neflin who is hiding on top of the balcony. its gone be such an awesome ...
He truly wants to, he can't shut up about it. And of course i, never gonna give him the chance
-
How did you do the roofs? Also, I love the balcony on the guild building! Is there anyway to access it in game? Hans perch?
some balconies are reachable by ladder, others by door.
house rule is: 1 action to enter a door, 1 action to exit a door same or 1 story higher, indoor only melee combat possible
and the roofs were done the hard way, the keeper painstakingly put the self cut shingles up one at a time (i did like haf a roof and it was bad )
he did the same with the paving next to the houses
-
These are all looking awesome. I especially love the distillery and the Guild house.
What is that model you are using for the statue?
its a caesar toy from the asterix range of collectible toys from kinder surprise
