Just ordered my Viks. It didn't hurt that my bro is giving me most of his Viks minis , so I only had to buy Viktoria the Bounty Hunter & Johann, plus my Ronins & OC fate deck. They should be in on the 26th.

Played my second game , lost but had fun. I'm still learning & was using my brothers Ramos crew , so it wasn't as enjoyable. I prefer shooty crews & had to be helped learning all the special spells n' such. Need to read the rules more in depth before my next practice game.

Cool ,thanx for the advice. I'll look into that , especially if I decide to play bigger games.

Has anyone built any cool , gothic inspired or staight up Victorian terrain pieces? I've seen alot of Old West & swamp shacks, but no Victorian pieces.

Nice, I love the brilliant paint job , especially on the robe. Ya I knew it was a straw hat. I've watched plenty of Samurai & Ninja based anime to tell.Now if I can be at least as proficient of a mini painter as you , I'd be very happy.

This is why I have yet to paint my Dwarves for Warlord heh. But since I'm getting into Malifaux ,I'm going to use them as practice so I don't bugger up my Viks.

Cool, thanx..I don't have the book so wasn't sure. If I build a Gremlins crew after I finish my Viks one , I'll stick to pure Gremlins then.

After checking out the various conversions & paint jobs for Gremlins. I was thinking of collectiing a Gremlins force after I'm finished with my Viktorias crew instead of going with Resurrectionists , Arcanists or Never born. Gremlins just look sooo cool.

That said , has anyone incorperated them into their own non-gremlin based Outcast crews? Is it even possible or desirable? Just curious.

What is a Student of Conflict? Is it one of the minis not yet available? Otherwise nice looking force.

I'm thinking of starting a Viktoria's crew, with the Viktoria's box & Ronin box. Should I stick with this or add anything to bolster this crew? I can't shell out too much $$ , but willing to add a few more options to this basic crew. I want to stick with the ranged 'shooty' & melee 'choppy' theme.

I went through this when I burned out with RPGs. It took me nearly a decade to get back into them. Now I just take the enjoyment from having fun with the guys. I roll crap most times with occasionally awsome rolls. I haven't really played miniature games up till recently. I've enjoyed the games even though I've lost every game, I'm just learning . Just had my first Malifaux game it was brilliant! I lost but didn't expect to win, just trying it out. Now I want to play it & saving for my first crew.

Can you take individual pics of the minis & post them soon? They'd be easier to see .
