I'd like to attend a Malifaux event, but the start time (midnight) is out of my normal operating parameters
-
This looks like a great event, but it is only by chance that I found out about it on here. I was hoping that you could perhaps take a moment to sign up for the new local Arizona wargaming forums here:
Adeptus Arizona shut almost all the forums down, so we are moving over to this new location. I would love it if we could get local events like this posted on the forums (There is a Tournaments and Events section) so that everyone in the area knows about them.
Thanks!
Rob

I can't wait to listen to this show. I've listened to your podcast from episode 1 and I have really been looking forward to your review of Malifaux.

1 to 1.5 hours for a 30ss game seems about right from my experience with it.

those are absolutely amazing! Playing on them would be a treat.

Added an update to v1.2 - 1/31/2010 - v1.2 - Minor fixes to Use Soulstone, Rapid Fire Abilities, Kidnap Scheme

Yep, was a good time, glad to have been able to make it!

I've had a similar story with the Warstore. Everyone does rave about them, so I'm sure that they are good. But my one order took several days to ship after they had sent me an email saying it had shipped. No company will be perfect, but I think its safe to say that both the Warstore and Miniature Market will be good more often than not, and they will fix any problems that do come up.

Thanks for posting, I am looking forward to another great Malifaux event in Arizona!
-
I ordered recently from them and they shipped promptly (within 48 hours of placing the order). In general they are responsive, but I've also had times where there has been a longer than a several day delay. Overall I am happy with them and would order again, though.

I will be running Malifaux demos from 4pm-7pm this Friday, January 15th at Game Depot in Tempe, AZ. Everything needed to try out the game will be provided, but feel free to bring any Malifaux stuff you may have as well for some open gaming.
This past Friday we got 5 games in and had 3 tables going at once.

Rare Earth Magnets and a Metal Tool Box. Cheaper. Easier.
Ditto here, can't beat the rare earth magnets.
-
They are doing good over there. Friendly as ever!
-
Ok, an updated (v1.1) version has been uploaded. I also have included a version with the background removed. Minor changes listed on the download page.
-
Updated to be for this Friday as well.
-
I typically get a few requests for no background with my reference sheets, no matter how light the background. I already have a few minor updates to this sheet and when I put it up, I'll make one without a background too.
My color printout looks great to me, but I understand that the results may vary with different printers.

Yep, we've got a nice little group down there. I believe Malifaux Mondays are starting in September as well. If you are not familiar, check out the arizona war gamer forums here:

Lots of stores are posting their events now, and we have good chatter amongst the local gaming community.
