  2. I really hate LE figs. I bought my lcb for 200 bucks, and probobly about to spend 100 bucks on nurse. If I wanted to play a collectible game I would have stuck with card games! That being said, I still love what you guys over there are doing! Maby you could just stop making them LE, how about web exclusive's?

Yeah, I agree with the people saying that none of the LE figures do you need to play. There are widely available versions of those models that allow you to play the same unit in the game. It's not like a ccg where you HAVE to go out and find that rare thing in order to play it. Your normal nurse plays the same way my Miss Pack does. The LCB I got for 60 from the gencon, well the web site during gen con technically, plays the same as the one I could get if I went to my FLGS and picked up the 30 dollar one there. It's just an incentive that builds buzz and rewards players that happen to be playing when they release the figs.

  3. Come to Tabletop Game and Hobby at 10 AM on March 5th for a 35ss tournament.

    Tournament Rules

Tournament is broken into a series of timed rounds based on the number of players in attendance.

    • 6 or fewer players = Round Robin, everyone plays everyone else
    • 6-20 players = 4 rounds
    • Games will all be played at 35 Soulstones
    • Players will pick a faction and stick with that faction for the entirety of the tournament
    • Players will hire crews each round from available models in chosen faction
    • Proxy models may be used but the model must well represent the unit in game (to be determined by the judge) and the player must have some sort of card for the model.

    Scoring and Determining Winners

Scoring, Determining Winners and Awarding Prizes

Players are trying to accumulate as many Victory Points (VP) as they can in each Encounter. VP are recorded each Encounter and the top 3 players at the end of the final round will be the winners! (first, second, and third respectively). Ties will be broken first by win/loss record. If that still leaves ties then VP differential total per round will be used. The top three scoring players should be awarded prizes at the conclusion of the event.

Number of Turns and Round Length

Standard rules for game length will apply with the addendum that each round will be 90 minutes. An announcement will be made 15 minutes prior to the end of the round to wrap up the current turn.

    Table Setup, Strategies, and Schemes

    • Tables will have preset terrain
    • Introduce themselves and tell their chosen Faction
    • Both players then shuffle their Decks and flip for Deployment Zones. High card chooses their standard Deployment Zone first.
    • Both players then flip to determine their Strategies from a modified list for the tournament
    • Both players then hire and reveal their Crews
    • Both players hand their opponent their stat cards for list review
    • Both players then select their Schemes from a modified list available for the tournament
    • Both players announce any Schemes they choose to announce

  4. How much of a pain in the ass was it to get the Sorrows pinned? I'm having a devil of a time with them.

Also, are you going to add the fire to the box on pandora? I personally am a fan of the box being more mysterious. Maybe a glowing light effect rather than the big fire thing. Nice work over all.
