1. Because some of the schemes can be kept hidden.

Well, Death Marshals are actually slightly better shooters than melee fighters, although they are not bad at both. Try to weaken your opponent's crew first with their shooting and then you can charge in with Lady J. and the Judge. In the subsequent turns you might consider casting Melee Prowess at the Judge and DM and get into melee with all of them. Some basic strategy

When you cheat fate you can REPLACE the card you have flipped for another from your hand, as long as the flip does not have a negative twist. Then you can play a lower card which will replace your higher flipped card.
Duels against friendly models work exactly the same way as against enemy models, although you are the only part involved.

And they put stuff inside that we wouldn't like to see outside of them

I think that your ss costs are wrong: Executioner costs only 7ss and Witchlings are 4ss each.

Congrats! But in December you will have more competition (from me!)

Happy birthday! +1

Flamers work as in 1:st edition and there are no hybrids.
I like this edition very much, although I just had to adapt one rule from the 1:st edition just to make the play harder for the Marine player I.e. it is very similar, but some changes made it easier for Space Marines.

Targeting a Harmless creature usually requires a duel, but with Blind Justice you can ignore all such duels.

Argh! A rubber chicken but for REAL!
Don't worry, though, she does have a healthy diet that includes something OTHER than Warhammer models.
Malifaux models?

An interesting battle report, a four-player battle is not a common sight Whom were you playing with?
-
Brutal? Ok. Great looking bases! *punches* As you apparently go for a theme with some flora (these are cacti, right?) you can make a tumbleweed for the gunslinger or one of the other models

Hey guys, another person from Sweden here! Just today I bought my first minis for Malifaux, just love the Death Marshals. Anyway, I have played miniature wargames for a few years now, only recently discovering the world beyound Warhammer with positive experiences so far, and really hope that Malifaux will not disappoint me!
Cheers!
First Game, Perdita vs. Pandora, question...
