My new Lilith crew. My photagraphy is way behind my painting. Went with a theme like the James Wappel stuff.

@ispep I used to to think the same way.since i wear bifocals now,it is practically a necessity.
-
Since my eyesight is failing I would say a headband magnifier.I see details much better now.
-
Reaper all the way. I use their brush on primer too. I'm lucky I guess, because Reaper is about 30 minutes from my house.

Does anyone know what is going to be in the Molly box?
-
Found some rioters from the ACW range of Perry Miniatures.

Duh. I'm looking for guys in top hats. I want to do a gang similar to one from the movie.
-
Do any of you guys know where I can find some miniatures that would be simular to the period of Gangs of New York?
-
Nekima. And she's kicking the crap outta me.

I hardly ever pin anymore since I started using an accelerator with my glue. I know it can weaken the glue but I have had good results with it. If I need a joint to hold especially well I will do a cross hatch pattern on both parts to create extra hold.

Looks a little thick as well. I would use something like Reaper brush on primer.

Envirotex is the way to go. For the best effect I would cut the center of the base out where the water is going. this is a great web site for it.http://www.terrainthralls.com/. One thing I can say if you are going to use Envirotex, make sure and seal the inside edge of the deep part of the base or it can run through.

Try the Jenova Project

How many additional rats do you think one should need outside of 3?

I went with the Bachman stuff at first. After working with it a while,I decided it was too"realistic". I ended up making buildings like Yazza's. They were more exagerrated and cartoony, which fits Malifaux.IMHO.

Wow,thats tough.I use Reaper exclusively.I originally went with one of the big 100 bottle paint sets and added to it as I needed them. The only triads I can tell you to surely get are the flesh tone ones. The Power Palette that they have one there helps you decide too.

I'm not sure what paints you use.I use Reaper. To recreate this I would start with Chestnut Gold(09073) then highlight with Tanned Leather(09031) then lighter highlight with Palomino Gold(09074) then finish with Golden Blonde(09033).If you want it to be more yellow then use like a Sun Yellow(09008) instead of the Palomino.

This website has plenty of beginner to expert tutorials on it.
The Yazza and Keeper thread inspired me to do that style of building.
