Yes the bad Fairy is a young neph and the yet to be painted female chaos daemon will be a mature neph. Though she will be Lilith's 'little sis' until the release the proper model
-
Done the base but I'm not to happy with it as the mix is not as transparent this time
-
The bear is Mishka from Eden miniatures. Took me ages to find a second bear model I liked and fitted
-
Really Nice.
What are you going to do for the base?
-
Looking really nice.
I'm now using a little bit of thinner and water mix. It works that much better for the finer details.
If you want tips for painting eyes read the tutorial here. It really helped me (though I still cant paint to the standard amber can.

Now I have my basic Guild Crew done I thought it was time to start Lilith's crew.
Just got to add the water effects to this one
I was trying to get the effect of her in mid change with some hair still green and her skin tone going from the pale purple at the feet up to a normal ish tone. Also the mask starting to form that Lilith has.

Thanks for the compliment. I got in a little work on the unit over the long weekend. It was the Thanksgiving holiday in the United States and many of us have had the last four days off.
After putting the red on, yellow was the obvious choice for the tau equipment that these bug-men carry. I think it makes them look very cartoony, but I like that. While I was hoping to finish the set before the end of November, I can't see that happening. I still have the wings to finish and the bases.
I've always really hated those models until now I've seen your paint jobs. Very well done!

I Played a the following list last week and it won 5 vp to -1 against Resurrectionists Nicodem.
Lady J
Judge
2 Deathmarshels
Scales of Justice
Austringer
2 Witchling Stalkers.
The Austringer was ok doing a single pt of damage each turn before allowing one of my other players to take a turn. But it was the stalkers that were fantastic with their hunter and scout ability gave them great tactical advantage. They both died but they took down much more than they cost.
The Judge was good with the Scales casting lady Js combat prowess on him giving him Melee expert on top of his flurry and a 2" range on his Melee weapon!

You should Take the board on a world tour!
Then we can all get to play on it
-
oh my! those models are fab! how did you get every detail??? teach me oh great one!
xxXhayzelXxx
Many thanks. The level of detail I mostly owe to a thin umber wash (made from Miniature Paint Umber) applied over the whole model after most of the base coat details have been painted. See post #15 to see pics of the peacekeeper right after the wash had dried. I use this as an extra guide for the highlights.
I also use the tamiya weathering kits to add the final level of detail - rust, mud, soot etc
-
Fantastic work. Its knocked my socks off!
Also the bottle on the base, how'd you do it?
-
Finally the Peacekeeper is ready
-
Here is a latest update
First the crew as it stands 43ss plus the Lady
And now the peacekeeper is on the bench
-
Lady J and her crew look awesome. I really like the white coats. Hope you don't mind but I may use some of your ideas for my Perdita crew
Go for it. My Idea of Painting Lady J in white was taken from another member of my gaming club, I just took it and applied it to the rest of the crew.
-
Really good, much more 'From Hell'
-
Love the Paint job really nice!
But the model seems to be missing something. It looks like she should have a wretch of a man under the sword begging for his life.
-
Here is an update of of the crew
-
The Convict Gunslinger is a real inspiration. Very kool!
-
After Sanj put his Lady J up I thought I might as well put up mine too! Well its my whole guild crew sofar (the pics went in the wrong order)
-
There is someting about our Gaming club as Sanj is the Third person to paint lady J in white!
:hmmmm:
LOL
