  1. Really if you play the box set for Lillith and Vicktoria they both are pretty powerful. I've won several games with both not using those abilities but just relying and focusing on what they have without them.

Remeber Terror Tots are great haraassers and Mature is a decent beat stick. Classic harrass then charge with the beat stick.

Vicktorias are excellent in melee and are very good at covering each other, play great with Misaka as well as Bishop, Taelor and other Melee fighters.

  2. You could buy some blisters before hand and have a selection where 1st player gets 1st pick then 2nd gets 2nd and so on. This is one way we play when the game doesn't have much or any store support. I would suggest getting blisters of figs that are not unique so they could be more likely to be played by there faction, ie Hoarcats, Convict Gunslinger, Witchlings, etc. The idea of one strategy and one special events (terrain) should be nice as to garuntee variety, so no one ends up playing thier weakest match up each time.

    Good Luck!

  3. Played a game of Neverborn vs. Neverborn first on of these! I like the fact that the interfaction battles still have a lot of differences in there play.

    Crews:

Lillith, 3 Terror Tots, 1 Mature Nephilium

Pandora, 3 Sorrows, Candy, Baby Kade

"Damn her and her stupid Nephilliums" said Pandora while playing with her hair.

"Candy she always gets in the way of my schemes"

"Mistress let me take care of her" said Candy as she rearranged the sweets in her basket looking for her sours.

"No this time we crush them" whispered Pandora.

Diagonal Deployment with no events or special terrain (trying something different)

    Turn 1

Both Armies Advanced with Lillith using her transposition to garner even more movement.

    Turn 2

The amries close and using her transposition trick the Mature Nephilium soars across the board. Then baby Kade goes for a charge but barely scratches the Mature Nephilium

    Turn 3

The Mature Nephilium kills two Sorrows while the terror tots move in with Lillith

Pandora, Candy and Kade cut deeper into the Mature Nephilium

    Turn 4

The Mature Nephilium kills the last Sorrow and almost kills Baby Kade while the crew focuses its spells on slowing down Lillith and Inciting the remaining terror tots, buying time to get activations off. Thus the crew kills a tot.

    Turn 5

Lillith charges Pandora killing her off of the Red Joker Damage flips. The remaining crew strugles to hurt the last 2 tots and takes one down along with the Mature Nephilium

    Turn 6

Candy dies to a terror tot and Baby Kade charges that tot only to fail his attackes and get swarmed by Lillith and then killed

Overall. Very edgy game with lots of suspense. We have 5 people watching toward the end!

  4. I also like the campaign to have bonuses for when you control certain things. Also its fun to have the campaign progress to larger SS battles as it goes on. Weather effects and political effects like increase or decrease in Wp with fluff is always a nice addition as well. Scenario add on is great too. Imagine if you roll the treasure scenario and you get a +2 to your CB when you have the treasure because its a magical pendant of accuracy etc. Another thing to consider is that if you give bonuses for one side other players should get different bonuses to balance out the play.

  5. I'm excited this week because I believe the FLGS will be getting the Outlaw Gunslinger soon. Now that makes me want to try out my gunslinger Outcast list. Now of course the outcasts need more gunslingers and soon, I hope. So far we have:

    Outlaw Gunslinger

    Victoria Bounty Hunter

    Hans

    Johan

My hopes are that the outcasts can get another pistol gun slinger and another rifle slinger that would round out the selection nicely. Hoping to see both in the next book!
