  5. If he hits does that stop any movement or is a disengaging strike then also required?
  6. Maybe I should have put those two sentences separately. If Seamus charges a model that he wasn't engaged with using No Escape and misses, does the model then get to move as if he had missed with a disengaging strike?
  7. If Seamus can't charge a model he's engaged with I take it that the target model doesn't actually get to move. If Seamus misses can the model then move as if he'd failed with a disengaging strike?
  8. Can Seamus nominate a model for No Escape he is already engaged with? Is the model held in place for Seamus' charge or does Seamus follow it? If the model doesn't move and his attack misses can the target disengage or does the movement effect automatically fail? What exactly constitutes a movement effect?
  9. Thanks for the all the replies, that is how we played it but I wanted to make sure we were doing it right. People seem a bit too hung up on the effects of abilities/spells. They're a game effect and if you really have to justify in your mind why they work stop reading them in one very specific way. Belles lure through magic. As a living male I can't say I'd find them irresistable otherwise.
  10. A couple of poison related questions. Do spirits take half damage from poisong? Under the Conduit ability a Voodoo Doll inflicts Poison 2 on a target when it comes in play taking effect in the end closing phase. Then it says "This remains in effect on this model until it is removed from play or it casts Reconnect." Does that mean the targeted model gets Poison 2 at the end of every closing phase or just the once when the VD comes into play?
  11. I think you're missing the point. It doesn't say Ophelia can only hire models with those characteristics. It says she may only join crews with those characteristics. It hinges on whether every model in the crew has to have one of those characteristics (which is how Ratty and myself read it). If they do then Zoraida can't hire her for a Brawl because Z doesn't have one of them.
  12. Zoraida herself doesn't have one of these characteristics so will Ophelia join her in a Brawl?
  13. The only issue with that is you'd expect the wording to be "or Vermin", not "and Vermin" unless it means at least one of each.
  14. Which was the final thing I asked. Does Ophelia's rule mean only one model in the crew has to have one of those characteristics for her to be eligible? The wording is she "may only join crews which contain Gremlins, Kin, Pigs and Vermin"
  15. So if Zoraida is the first model nominated to be in a crew all her "may" supercede any other models "may" in the crew?
  16. The rulebook says that if a rule on a stat card breaks a rule in the rulebook then the stat card takes precedence. Therefore Zoraida can hire Ophelia into her crew because "Enthrall" takes precedence over the regular hiring rules. It then says that if rules on two stat cards contradict each other then the wording determines which takes precendece, "may" is trumped by "can" which is trumped by "cannot". Zoraida "may" hire living models with a WP of 4 or less from any faction, Ophelia "may" only join crews in a Brawl that contain Gremlins, Kin, Pigs and Vermin. Which "may" takes precendece? Or does only one model in the crew have to have one of those characteristics for Ophelia to be eligible to join it in a Brawl?
  17. In a Brawl, can one of the two mercenaries you have in your crew be a master from a different faction (ie can Pandora and Viktoria lead a crew in a Brawl)? Does hiring Von Schill as a mercenary from out of faction mean you can hire any number of Friekorps minions or are you still limited by the two mercenaries you can hire?
  18. It seems to come with two inner collars with room enough for both of them to be inside. There are two ends larger than the one I'm using and the other doesn't have a hole cut into it to hold the drill bit.
  19. I decided to take the plunge and try to pin. I got a drill set from PP but I'm having a problem with it and all the online advice I can find on drilling assumes that you can at least get the drill to work.... Whenever I put even slight downward pressure on the drill the bit slides up into it. I tighten it as much as I can and I'm sure it's in the right place. What am I doing wrong?

  21. A fully healthy McMourning kills a Gamin with a melee attack. The Gamin explodes doing two damage to McMourning. Does McMourning heal the damage?
  22. I think I may have to push my modelling skills as well as my painting skills. As soon as they went into the carry case they came apart so some pinning may be in order. I'm going to try and have everything painted by the tournie.
