  2. Manifest Destiny: a 50ss Single Master event @ Game Kastle Santa Clara, CA (5/13/17)

    A 50ss single master Gaining Grounds Tournament.
    Each player must shave not only a master, but their Avatar as well. Acceptable models are either the older Avatar models, the current Emissary models, or appropriate and pre-approved conversion that mantain the theme of the Avatar as well as being modeled from Wyrd Miniatures, on a 50mm base. In addition be sure to have cards for the Avatar's manifest events as well as the avatar upgrades.
    Notice: Should you wish to use an Emissary as your avatar AND include an Emissary in your crew they must be individually distinguishable models.
     
    Entry Fee: $5 goes towards prize support.

  4. March Madness Malifaux League @ Game Kastle Santa Clara, CA (3/4-3/25)

    A Four week league focusing on participation, painting, and community. League weeks begin each Saturday which will be the official league play time (though other times can be arranged based on your availability.) Achievement sheets will be given when you join the league by contacting Squid. The encounter size will be 25 stones (henchman led) the first week, 30 stones the second week, 40 stones the third week, and 50 stones the last week.

    - 40 Soul Stones.

    - Painting is not required, but unpainted crews must give up one victory point per game.

    - All rules (unless mentioned here) are as per the Gaining Grounds 2015 rules 

     

    This is out second alternate snow day. Short of snowpocalypse we WILL be doing this Sunday!

    With the release of Rapid Growth 2015, we will be following those rules with the following exceptions. League day points become league week points instead allowing people to play on any day they choose (the the official day is still Monday.) Models are not required to be painted since we have several new players just getting their feet wet. Lastly the encounter size has been changed to match those in the Rapid Growth League.

    Staring this Monday (December 8th) we are back to Demo/Open play night. Some come on out a get some painting done for the Crew painting contest, practice a game for the upcoming tournament, or just ask questions and try the game out!

    So you got a painted crew box, now what are you going to do with it? Come on out and join us for an achievement based grow league. Start at 25 soul stones for the first week. Then just to thirty in the second. For the next two weeks your pool grows by ten points! Just to make things interesting, each player declares a faction upon joining and then can play any crew within that faction during the league. League weeks will run from Monday to Sunday and points can be scored anytime during the week as long as the games are played at Looking for Games and an employee signs off on the achievement sheet. Prizes will be awarded to the players who score the most achievement points. There will be $15 fee to entry the league, which will be waived for those who have bought a crew box at Looking for Games in the previous month (What a great reason to enter the Totem and Crew painting contests!)

     

    When: Monday Jan 5th
    Time The league will run for four weeks, ending on Sunday Feb 1st. Prized will be awarded Monday Feb 2nd at 6pm.
