  1. After my first experiments, I think that

    Hire piglets at the beginning of the game is not a good idea, they are weak, just maybe one cause they run fast.

    2 Hog whisperers are fine if you need them, and on my opinion you only need them if you have two warpigs.

    warpigs are big, warpigs are cool, I love them.

    Hire 4 mosquitos at the beginning is a little overexpensive.

    So I would play

    Somer teeth

    One warpigs (8)

    hog whisperer (5)

    5 gremlins (10)

    2 mosquito (4)

    1 piglet (3)

    5 soulstones.

    or with 6 gremlins and 3 soulstones.

  2. I follow little pieces of that, and with what I understood, there should be

    All the rules, including the erratas and some stuff done to make the game more handy to handle (even if it can be quite scarry at fist sight, it's fine at the end).

    there should be the immortal and some stuff in it.

    I'm not sure there will be zaebas chronicles inside, it's more some kind of organized play that cypher should implement itself after (or not) to galvanize the community.

    And I think the artworks would be an auto-include anyway.

  3. Hum, I don't discuss balance issues and know that my way of playing is quite weird.

    I played my gremlin swarm and had lot of funs and some success, and am happy the way it is for example.

    I just offer some kind of explanation to the hookers that find funny the tread like how deal with these master or stuff like that. With my way of playing, it can make sense, cause you don't adapt you anymore, you just fight with what you have, accepting their strenght and weakness.

    However in terms of balance, my last remark remains true.

    All player don't have enough to afford them to have a complete faction, and sometimes just have a crew at the beginning, and that can be an issue if he falls against a full faction adaptative player (it will not be if he falls against a me i play weird stuff but like that, I agree)

  4. Or maybe they just love one peculiar crew. As an example, if I would play Arcanist, it would be only to play stuffborg (steamborg, ramos arachnid) because I don't like the chimera and am not a huge fan about rasputina. As I play, let say in a fluff way, I refuse to take mercenaries (except when I think it makes sense) and to take some minions from the chimera and rasputina swarm.

    So I have Ramos and my constructs, and will have to deal with all different masters with that basis.

    It's not because the faction has several masters, and so several possibilities, that you want to play all of them, when your opponent could love his faction as a whole, and play with them.

    This part is a little weird to me (I mean, for a tournament for example, if there is a young player with only a crew against a guild player with all the guild range of models, it makes the game pretty unbalanced, as one is over adaptative).

    So I would prefer the classic system of a I have a crew and a little cache of minions and build my crew from that each game. I think it makes you think more in terms of balanced crew and allow to make disappear most of the unbalance that could exist

  5. Well I had lady justice lure by a rotting belle, hit by the evil belle. Then a nice counter attack from lady J and the belle was killed. So she maybe didn't like to be lure this way.

    And we had a belle that makes the viktoria sword mistress to take off there clothes (she already doesn't have a lot so...)

    and then a lot of fun with the gremlin shooting everywhere, hitting there friends or missing so hitting there friends

  6. So vik with ronin are quite easily playable in 35 soulstones (you will have the opportunity to spare some soulstones just not hiring one of the mercenary)

    The max hirepoints you can keep with you is 8. So you will have to take additionnal stuff with seamus.

    You can only have a totem at a time, so if you have copycat killer, you can't have another one.

    the stuff to add to your crew could be

    Canine remains (weak but fast, can play with corpse)

    necropunk (weak but better than dogs, don't like them but...)

    Samourai punk zombies (hazardous, very hazardous, but a little fragile, fun anyway)

    Bête noire (pretty nasty effect, I like her, and as it's a girl she is fine with seamus (just for style, not for rules)

    Hanged (very nasty, but expensive)

    Nurses (good effects, good mini)

    and some other I can't remember

    i would more advice bête noire and nurse cause it's fun to have only ladys with seamus, I would avoid samourai punk zombies and stuff from other resurectionnist crews to let you the opportunity to buy boxes

    else, well I'm not a resurrectionnist player so...

  7. Two fate decks would be fine

    they are nice cards and this is more nice to play with them

    If you wish to increase the game, for the viktorias ronin are a must have and are cool model anyway.

    For the resurectionnist, I don't know them enough to know what works well with seamus and the redchappel crew

  8. Both of the crews are quite good and can do very nice stuff

    the viktorias'crew is a little more expensive in points than the redchapel one, however, if you had the copycat killer (that is done especially for the redchapel crew) it should be fine.

    Viktoria's crew worth 24 points, when seamus one with the copycat killer should be around 20.

    So if you just put away one of the mercenary you should be able to play balance game to learn

  9. I would be more in a combination of death marshall and witch hunters

    the marshalls have good guns

    the stalker have nice swords

    so you have your basis balanced

    then the samael has a very good gun

    the judge can be pretty hazardous in close combat (I would prefer the executionner

    lady J is a close monster

    Sonnia can have pretty nasty range spells.

    When on my opinion, the ortegas are good but are more range fighter (they will not give you additionnal close combat models) when the witch hunters give both of fightstyle

  10. Well, it's maybe normal but I have some doubt.

    My johan's miniature doesn't match with the card and the box, as his base is different (not a big deal) but also one of his arm the one with the hammer is a naked arm when there is come protect on the card, and he seems to fire when mine seems to walk and doesn't aim.

    Is that normal, or am I luckt/unlucky having a special mini ??

    Bon donc français aussi et très enthousiasmé par ce jeu, j'aimerais vous rejoindre sur la french connexion, même si je sais pas complètement comment.

    Donc voilà, je jouerais à priori la guilde tout ça.

    D'ailleurs, en terme de traduction, je vois pas pourquoi vous prener pas tout simplement Chasseurs de sorcières, qui est une traduction littérale. je veux dire Witch, c'est une sorcière dame aussi en anglais (un sorcier étant Wizard)

    Bref bref, si tout se passe bien, je reçois le livre de règle la semaine prochaine et je pourrais commencer du taf de traduction si vous avez besoin, et je "devrais" faire ma prochaine partie mardi le 18. Donc voilà voilà
