How bout a werewolf that would have a special rule that would attach to a mercenary like the ronin or convict gunslinger. Let’s face it they would never be attached to a faction but able to work with one. Rule would be Lycanthrope curse would attach to said model and be around 12ss have some beefy stats and have a hatred for undead and neverborn, but would be susceptible to attacking your own party if they were too close. And I think at the start of the activation you have to make a flip to see if you trigger the change but also makes you burn control cards if you want to hold off the change. I was thinking something like 3 inch claws and a poisoned bite along with hard to wound and slow to die. After killed revert back to the merc it was attached to or on the flip side if the merc is killed it’s an auto change to the beast.
Yes a lot of game companys have werewolves but none of them do it right. Ether they use weapons or bs political structure or are a bunch of tree hugging hippies (no offence to any out there). What I’m looking for is a curse that you have to aim or hold back and not let loose on your own gang. I personally think that would make for some fun game play.
Well said, I would also like to see a Werewolf type like this. It fits well with the Wyrd theme. Even if some sort of large wolf like beast for Miranda to shapeshift into, would also be desireable.

Seems like something that would be best as an expansion type thing, maybe standalone. Generic masters and minions, with some options to customise them. Then your crew would be unique and experience would just make that more so.
I agree and think this would be a fun way to go. While I have never been a fan of the card and deck building games, I do like Malifaux. I can see that Malifaux is trying to build a bridge from the older miniature-dice gamers and the newer card-dueling gamers. My gaming group has been very difficult to sway to this game due to the card based mechanic. If an experience system is introduced into the next expansion I will have an easier time getting them on board.

I will be demo-ing Malifaux at Steamcon in Seattle Oct 23-25th. Unfortunately, the con is pretty much sold out, so unless you can get there early Friday to stand in line for the last few tickets available, it's too late.
Is there any other place in the Seattle area to get a demo of the game?

My gaming group really likes Mordh##m for the experience system and that you can improve the skills and abilities of your characters. We have never found another game quite like this. Is this a direction that Malifaux might take? Any speculations?

Hi, I have been painting and playing miniature games off and on since I was 13. If not for misspelling typed into a search engine I would have never found Wyrd. I like the quality of the products and enjoy painting them up. Right now I am in the process of trying to get my gaming group on board with trying out Malifaux. The card based mechanic is turning into a rather hard sell. Thanks for reading!

I think that Levieticus is the only master without a boxed. Once all of the minatures that are tied to Leveticus have been released will there be a boxed set out as well? If so which figures will be in the boxed set. Does anyone have any idea or speculation?

Any ideas on what will be in the C. Hoffman box set? Will the Peacekeeper be included or just miniatures from Rising Powers?
