I've had this bookmarked since, like, forever:

Reaper has a number of good ghost figs, I've always been partial to this one:
Dark Heaven 03027: Spectre

I haven't broken the Judge's chain yet, but I dread that eventual day. It was such a pain to get attached in the first place, too.

As a chronic brush-licker, I have to agree. It's a bad habit I don't encourage in anyone else.
(Heh heh, brush-licker.)

Thanks! More pics next time, promise. I always go back and forth between how much detail to include, and shoot for more of a look-and-feel overview of the game. But everyone loves pics.
Will see if I can get my esteemed opponent to upload a pic of the owlbear also. Great paint job.

As a side note... poor Marcus, he needs some love.
...beastly love...
In what way? :SWe can't really talk about it, but if you turn off your safe search on a Google image search...
-
Gomez, you're right. They should eliminate artificial rarity and just make the models available to everyone, to get rid of speculation.
Wait, was that not the answer people were looking for?
-
For the interested converter, I note that Pulp City minion Draku would be a great place to start.
-
I still want a model for the Carver. Oh yes.

Originally posted this in the Neverborn section, but I figureit fits here too.
As part of a group challenge with the local players here near DC, I put together a Collodi puppet army. I've been keeping track of my progress on my blog, including some pics (note: I am a terrible painted, but I do enjoy painting) and a couple rough battle reports for my initial outings:
Still figuring out Collodi. I'd only ever played Guild with Lady Justice before, so things are... different.

I used a Zoraida list with Collodi and Widow Weaver, and the WW was somewhat disappointing - she didn't really keep up much and I felt a doppleganger would have served me better. I'm somewhat hesitant to try her again really.
Using Collodi as a Master, though, and you can't pick the Doppleganger.

Current obsession is the Seamus avatar, but for using in Pulp City. Malifaux-wise, probably the Guardian for Lady Justice.
-
A nice creative touch, looking forward to seeing it completed!

A steampunk wagon that doesn't need anything pulling it should probably fit on a 50mm. At least if you build it a little higher.
Doubledecker Guild Wheelbarrow Unit?
-
Yoshida Brothers for the win.

Abney Park is ostensibly a steampunk band, you can check out their music on the YouTubes.
Also, the soundtrack for Carnivale.
And Peter Gabriel wrote the soundtrack for The Last Temptation of Christ, which is suitably eerie.

DC proper, no. There's no real gamestores.
I *think* there's a joint in NoVA that stocks the models.
If you make it up to Bethesda/Rockville, we've got a pretty decent gaming group.

I personally like the Executioner model, and have learned the hard way not to underestimate a big guy with a beer gut...
Agreed, on both counts.
However, I've also heard of someone using Maximo Ligori, from the Anima Tactics line, and that's one spicy meatball:
-
That Nyss sorceress was my first thought, and for the critter, I'd go with a Reaper Yeti:
-
Reaper also just released a keen Jabberwock:

And of course Lady Justice for Judgement, right?

Wait for it. Wait... for... it...

What they said. Some games are closer than others. Wyrd leans towards the artistic side of things, which means looks are more important than the precise scale. I have no problem with this. But it does mean when I'm looking at using some other company's figs with Malifaux figs, I need to see them in person to see how they scale up. (IMHO, Malifaux's 'regular humans' definitely trend more towards the 32mm side of things.)
if you are looking for proxies the current line of Heroclix is right on par and uber cheap to getEhn, scale creep was just as prevalent in Heroclix as elsewhere. Line the Spitfire fig up next to the second Nightwing sculpt and see what I mean.
Puppet Wars to Malifaux for Z

For my Collodi list, I needed a third Stitched Together (max of three in the list, but sold in packs of two, with two sculpts. Feh.) plus a couple more Wicked Dolls. Just picked up the Puppet Wars booster, and it will totally do the job with some to spare.
