  1. Hi everyone,

I'm starting up demo nights at Good Games Hurstville again. They are going to be one every second Thursday, so the next few will be on 12/4, 26/4, and 10/5. There will be space to play, and I'll have demo gear available to teach the game with. I'll be in from 6pm for anyone who wants to join in, wearing a Henchman shirt so that I'm easy to find.

Good Games Hurstville is located at:

    Unit 2, 8-10 The Avenue
    Hurstville, NSW 2220

  2. Hi everyone,

I'll be running Through The Breach demos at Sydcon next Sunday. It's located at St Scholastica's College in Glebe, NSW, and the event details are available here: http://www.sydcon.info/

Games will run at 9am and 1pm. Everything you need to learn the game will be provided. If you are interested in learning the game or want to see what it is about, come by and have a look!

  3. I'll be running a demo day at Good Games Hurstville on 30/4 for anyone interested in learning the game. They are trying to get a community running at the store, so anyone looking to learn the game or get back into it would be great to see there. I'll have everything needed to run people through an intro game, or if you have models and are looking to learn, bring them along and we can sort out a demo!

    30/4/17

    1pm-5pm

    Good Games Hurstville

Unit 213, 7-11 The Avenue, Hurstville, New South Wales, Australia 2220

  4. I try and make as many of my tournaments as beginner friendly as I can. This one probably works more toward beginner friendly than some of the others though. It's the basic schemes/strategies, not the gaining grounds variants, so you are probably familiar with them already. Smaller than usual crew sizes would mean a basic crew would be a good core force, and you wouldn't be faced with a huge number of unknown models staring at you across the table (hopefully). A lot of the tournament regulars  are aware that everyone starts somewhere, and are patient. Plus, they often only get games in every few months, so would likely be just as rusty on the models as you are new to them.

Plus, if you had questions about henchman things or the tournaments, I'm happy to answer in person while I'm there, and you can see some more of the community.
