  1. True that the base is not the model, but when measuring range do you measure from the center of the model also? Or use the edge of the base as directed by the rules.

If your group wants to use house rules on whats acceptable/or not, no saying you cant.

Height would/should only come into play if no LoS can be drawn to target, all terrain effects, conditions, and heights should be discussed before the game starts so there are no misunderstandings.

In my experience issues like this usually come in the last turn or two of a close game where tension is running high and peeps are trying to secure a win.

  2. The wall you describe sounds more like a fence, if it does not block line of sight.

Hunter does not allow you to "see through" (forest exception) stuff just takes into mind that Nino can shoot a tick off a mule!! Real life hunters (and snipers) can take shots a crazy angles with only small portions of their target showing and still make a kill shot.

  3. Miliput is a different animal if your used to the ol' GS, best thing to lubricate your tools with is alcohol, and no I don't mean your local micro brew!!!

Plain rubbing stuff, the rules for it are the same as GS mix, attach and rough shape, wait 20 mins or so and do your detail.

I use it mostly to bulk up an armature before GS, I have started to mix it with the GS, that way it has a bit of elasticity from the GS and is a bit softer to rough work.

  4. Ronin is a nice add, Ive never had luck with Santi though, to soft in my opinion. A witchling or two is nice to tie up stuff in melee, throw down some disrupts, make them discard, and remove effects where needed....and they blow up!!

The thought of leaving Sammy home when theres a party is a hard choice. I dont like the model to much myself, but hes worth his weight in gold on the field.

  5. The FAQ clarifies he can do it 3? times (his growing command ability allows you to cast it again).

Only thing I find in the FAQ about Hamlin is about Ht1 models.

Obey can only be cast once per activation, Growing Command also points out that each spell can only be cast once per activation using the trigger.

Has this been changed or updated recently?

  6. Minwax stuff is way cheaper and gets the same result- you need to get the water based acrylic (blue can) as the normal wood stain can interact with the paint and cause it to never fully dry.

I would suggest also the after the dip has dried to hit it with a matte coat, the stain will lift and mix with the paint if your laying other colors on the model.

  7. Quick add on question, cast once per activation/turn.

If you attempt to go for the lucky flip as a last ditch effort, and say cast obey. The flip is unsuccessful, could you try and cast it again - technically the spell has not been cast.

Or am I getting to literal about the wording ??
