I'd also like to point out that Colorado Miniatures also carries Enigma, as well as Andrea and others. I haven't bought from their site so I can't say anything about service or shipping, but they do have some of the harder to find mini lines for us here in the USA. (I noticed their prices are $1-2 higher per mini than at CMON but it's a good back-up site to look for a "must-have now" mini you want)
*EDIT* Actually (my memory is pretty crappy) but I do think I did order from them once, although it was a couple of years ago and only for a few figs. Pretty sure it was a typical order, shipping was neither extremely fast nor slow and I got my order as ordered. Probably why I don't remember it overly well, nothing happened out of the ordinary. Hope this helps, Scott!

Found this article on Yahoo about what happens with people whose social circle is pretty much online
You mean there's people out there who have social circles that AREN'T online??!
Sheesh, I wonder what that's like....

Eric, I got both emails. Any chance though that you could send the application and NDA as Word documents? That would make it easier for me, and perhaps other, to fill out and submit electronically.
Thanks,
Andy
That would make it easier, wouldn't it? As it is, I'm doing a lot of copy/paste to recreate them so I can get them back today. I do have a scanner, but my printer is out of ink so I can't print them out to fill out and scan! Gah!

Why is the Archer wearing two different boots?
It's hard to come by new shoes when you live in the middle of the woods?
Nothing overly exciting, it's like I've zenit all before....

Oh no.... There's an idiot list? CRAP!
Lemme go create a new acct...
This is good info guys, I had a tough time figuring this out at first as well. Maybe there could be a sticky somewhere with instructions for new/non comp savy people to read so they can post pics and get in on the action.
Don't worry Peterdita, I think TBK is at the top of that one, being the most mentally disturbed of anyone here.
I mean, geez, anyone who likes bugs and spiders.... gaaaaah!

I found your mini at the DS site and he's doesn't have a name (so sad, all mini ought to have a name), it's just DSM7405 - Visions in Fantasy - Elven Dual Wield Warrior . I almost missed him since your "oh so shoddy" paintjob is even better than their store gallery one (thier elf looks sunburnt and photo is at a bad angle, making him look knock-kneed).
And by "oh so shoddy", I mean freakin beautiful! My best paintjob isn't as good as your worst. So hey, if it's so terrible, send him my way I'll put him to work as a study piece.

I don't even like undead minis, but the attitude in these guys stances are cool!
Does that make them "bad to the bone"?? *cue George Thorogood"

I agree with the others, and I'd also like to add that it's a nice base too, very complimentary to the colors of the hydra. Great job!

(This is merely to satisfy my boundless curiosity...)
How did you come up with your username here? I know some are obvious, like EricJ (real name) and Frustrated Father (self-explanatory), so maybe you guys can explain why you chose your real name over some pseudonym.
I may as well begin:
Duende - I chose it because it was a song on the album Karma by Delerium. It was a very pretty sounding song sung by Camille Hernderson (Sarah McLachlan's backup singer) but the lyrics themselves were very dark (read here). I thought it was symbolic for me since I sometimes have problems with depression so it seemed to go along with how sometimes I wear my 'happy face' to cover the blacker feelings underneath.
Also I chose it because of the meaning: "often considered to be Spanish equivalent of the English word, "sprite" or the Japanese word "yokai" and is used as an umbrella term for any fairy-like being such as goblins, pixies and elves."( - from Wikipedia), and that it was kind of gender-neutral, that people wouldn't be able to tell from my username alone if I was male or female.
Well, that's my story. What's yours?

Can't wait to see the greens of these

If I had any talent, I'd pick up one of these sticks and enter it in a painting contest.
I wanna see that!

OMG, I feel like I'm gaining weight just looking at those pictures!

People don't need monster-faced dice when regular ones work just as well and are much cheaper, but they still sell.

Rulers are hard to stand on end beside minis, and some minis just won't lie on their backs right, especially the more dynamically posed of them. This is just easier to pose and has only the numbers mini-acficionados are familiar with. Good idea for mini-makers and/or sculptors.

Just curious, but how much would be charge if we had a material on hand that we liked, but just needed it sewn together into a bag?

Her breasts don't look right. They're not supposed to start at the collarbones. Nice for a nearly nude but some of her proportions seem a little off... (does her right shin look a little short?)
I do like the big lizard though. Who wouldn't?

Why does that sound like someone is ordering dinner at KFC?
So if I went to KFC and ordered "butt" what do you think I'd get???
..maybe an egg?

So.... are you getting some better pics of the base, Mr. BreastButtLegMan???
How are we supposed to critique your marbles otherwise? Maybe you're still hanging out in your bunk...

I'll agree with what the others said about the highlighting. Also a little fine black-lining around the top of the boots and edges of her outfit I think would look good too. The marble base looks good, another pic taken from overhead would be nice to be able to see it better. Her pose really asks for a diorama though, like a nice kneeling submissive male figure. Yep.

I don't know, it doesn't look very "abyss-ish" having a nice grassy top. I think a scorched-earth look would be more suitable. The brown just makes it look like pocky mud.
