Malifoolery Too!

High on the western perimeter of the Quarantine zone there is a grand house that rivals the governor’s mansion for size. No one can say for sure how long it has been there, some claim to remember the site being empty just a few months ago, others swear it has stood there for years. Whatever its history, its occupants are talked about is respectful whispers.

The Iannucci family has slowly been building its reputation and wealth in Malifaux. Its Patriarch, Don Iannucci, is said to have worked his way up through the soulstones mines, before prospecting out on his own, but no one talks openly about the Don’s past. Now the family business is brashly advertised, Iannucci’s Splendiferous Emporium, a mecca of shopping delights for the frontiersman where the budding explorer can acquire everything he needs for life outside the relative safety of Malifaux. The Iannucci success story is an inspiration to the downtrodden of Malifaux, the family spreads its wealth wherever it goes, sponsoring local events and charities, and even the Iannucci employees can afford to live in the more affluent end of town. Queues for jobs at the Emporium are long, but breaking into the tightly knit “family” of employees is a rare event, and only the best applicants are accepted.

Central to Iannucci operations is its huge warehouse that seemingly grows a new wing every week. Vast in size, there is surely too much in there to be sold at the Emporium. It is said that strange, eerie noises emanate from the most remote wings at night, and that people go missing from the local iterant population without trace. Surely the secret of the Iannucci rise to wealth and influence is contained within….

Malifoolery Too, the third Malifoolery Event, is taking place at Good Games in central Sydney starting at 10.00 on 15th October.
