Malifaux League: Alien Worlds, San Antonio, Texas

The Alien Worlds Westlakes location will be hosting a Malifaux league beginning next week, and running throughout the month of March. No entry fees are required.

Players must select a faction for the league, which is structured around completion of 'achievements'. These range from the simple (play a 25SS game) to the challenging (play every strategy in the book at least once) to the odd (play a game with no duplicated models). The goal is to encourage as many games, in as many different ways, as possible.

Come in, get signed up, and play Malifaux until your eyes bleed (or Coppelius steals them). No entry fee, and prizes will be awarded to the players with the most achievements.

Update from the first league night:

For a game that's still growing in our area, we had a great first night with 8 players present and most getting games in (just one for most, things are still a bit slow but getting better!)

McMourning sliced and diced Marcus' beast into giblets, but a speedy evasion by the beastmaster held on for a tie, while Rasputina turned on her fellow Arcanist and left Ramos' constructs a shattered mess before making off with the valuable artifact. Lilith and her Nephilim saw that Von Schill had enough tricks to give even her powerful minions a run for their money as well.

Thursday is the official league night, but games can be played in store at any time and players can join the league at will. We look forward to seeing everyone!
