Mad Scientists of May League at Serenity Games (Seminole Florida)

A Mad Scientist has begun distributing dangerous devices among the population of Malifaux!  Chaos is on the rise as crews scramble in a mad dash power grab to collect as many of these maniacal devices as possible!

The Rules:

All league games must be played at the store (Serenity Games).  The official game night for Malifaux at Serenity Games is Tuesday nights starting at 6:30, but games may be played any time during the week.

A maximum of 4 League Games can be played in a given week (starting Tuesday the 2nd)

Players freely change crews & factions between each game as they choose.

Schemes and Strategies can be chosen from Gaining Grounds 2017, Story Encounters, or Standard Schemes and Strats from the main Rulebook

A deck of special upgrade cards has been created for use in this league (Mad Science cards).  Many are based off of the skills and equipment from the "Shifting Loyalties" campaign game for Malifaux.

All players will start the league with 2 Mad Science upgrade cards.  Each non-peon model in your crew can equip up to 1 Mad Science card, which costs 0 SS and does not count against your upgrade limits.  Each game you play you will receive 1 random Mad Science upgrade card for playing, plus 1 card for every 3vp you score in a league game (Max 4 cards at 9+ points).  At the end of each game, any Mad Science cards that were used in the game are discarded put back into the Mad Science deck.

Prizes

$5 buy in to join the league.  Top 2 players will receive store credit

Every 3 League Points you accumulate will get you a raffle ticket for a drawing for a promotional figure

Best New Painted Figure (Painted during the month of May, chosen by T.O.) will receive a promotional figure.  The unpainted figure must be shown to T.O. prior to painting to be able to submit it for prize.
