Ad1 Posted March 20, 2014 Report Share Posted March 20, 2014 Hi All, Quick question, any ideas on minitures that are available that could represent a female character with the 'Wall of Muscle' general talent. Basically looking for something that will be representative of a height 3 character. If nothing is available anyone got any tips on what kind of size would be representative of a Height 3 vs a Height 2? Thanks in advance. MasterDisaster Posted March 20, 2014 Report Share Posted March 20, 2014 If you take a look at the below picture you can see Izamu the Armour at the back left, he is Ht.3, in front of him (and to the right just behind Yan Lo) is an Ashigaru which is Ht.2. Ht.2 being about the standard size of a human you can see Izamu stands quite a bit taller. The Soul Porter of the far right is Ht 2 however he is about the same size as many Ht.1 models so this should give you a good idea of the scale involved from Ht.3 vs Ht.2. Dracomax Posted March 20, 2014 Report Share Posted March 20, 2014 Basically, at Malifaux Scale, anything over 2" tall and less than or equal to 3" as a mini would be Ht 3. I'm not sure any exist in Malifaux at the moment, but I'm sure if you look for slightly larger scale(or possibly one of the over sized VIks from the Gencon sales) you could find something. I recall seeing mention of the recall on the oversized minis from Gencon. I went looking for pics but couldn't find any. Would anyone know of any pics of them? MasterDisaster Posted March 21, 2014 Report Share Posted March 21, 2014 Here's one of the Oversized Ronin Here's a comparison of oversized Vik vs. Normal Vik To be honest there's not a massive difference in them, my Viks boxset came from Gencon and I've never really noticed them being oversized. Dracomax Posted March 21, 2014 Report Share Posted March 21, 2014 Well, standing VIk to Oversize standing Vik is about the difference between Ht 2 and Ht 3, as shown in the Ashigaru to Izamu comparison pic.
