Sybarite
Hmm I'm afraid I don't think I have the energy for creating a video currently. Life has been a bit rough recently. Possibly a tutorial with pictures but I can't promise anything.
kmdl1066
but I feel like I could create nice bases if someone showed me how in a couple of examples. Easy (this is basically how I do mine): http://www.belloflostsouls.net/2013/01/hobby-fancy-bases-made-easy.html and Golden Demon: http://www.necrotales.com/necroTutorials/
Sybarite
So my Marcus crew got some reinforcements before Dragonfaux. And then I ended up not playing Marcus, oh well! A wild shrubbery has appeared! ... No wait it's a Waldgeist! And here's a Warmaster Eagle playing the part of a Malifaux Raptor
Sybarite
Nobody likes my beasts :'( Almost done with my second waldgeist now
zFiend
Really cool waldgeist! Also I like that raptor a lot. It's insanely well painted too, which doesn't harm it at all.
PraetorDragoon
That raptor looks very sweet. Really nicely done.
Sybarite
Yay comments! ^^ Thanks Zfiend! I found it rather tricky to paint the Raptor. It's a model very well suited for drybrushing, but somehow that kind of made it a little bit hard for me since I didn't just want to do a quick drybrushing job. But I think it turned out pretty well The colour scheme mimics my old great eagles from my Wood Elves army. ^^ Thanks Praetordragoon! Sybarite
Here's the second Waldgeist. Sorry about the pictures. I was too lazy to bother doing a decent lighting this time.
Math Mathonwy
Really lovely stuff! I like how you gave an almost fur-like texture to the Waldgeist's green parts (or should that be moss-like). And the OSL of the eyes is brilliant! Subtle enough to not overwhelm but makes for a great focal point.Extremely well done!
Myyrä
I love the eyes on those Waldgeists. Had to take a second look to make sure that they aren't actually glowing.
Sybarite
Thanks you two! Glad you like the osl on the eyes I just somehow felt that those weir, wolfy leaf beasts should have glowy eyes. Tends to look good on forest spirits and stuff.
