Drool_bucket
have you seen the GAMA photo of the model? http://www.crittohit.com/events/gama-trade-show-2014-wyrd-games-malifaux-through-the-breach scroll through the images and you'll find her. (I'd be more helpful but I is computer dumb)
David Blank
OMG, I want her even more now!!!! Thank You!!

(I'd be more helpful but I is computer dumb) That's (supposed to be) the exclusive sculpt for Through the Breach RPG though. The (supposed) normal sculpt has yet to be revealed. IL195
That model looks so awesome. So glad I kickstarted through the breach. Anyway, has anyone taken a close look at the new Wyrd Chronicles. On page 41, that looks like new artwork for a Freikorps librarian. If that's what the new librarian looks like, I have no problem waiting for the new plastics, since, if this is the new librarian sculpt, then the rest of the Korps will be just as awesome. Mako
That art on page 41 didn't strike me as freikorps - there's no armour, after all. I was assuming that one (and I think there was another like it just about visible in the scheme deck preview, on the arcanist card) was probably one of the new oxfordian mages. pixelante
For the Steamer Trunk I am just going to make one out of a small tank base. A flames of war AFV should provide a suitable starting point.

(I'd be more helpful but I is computer dumb) If she's even close to that look I'm going to become a very impatient boy. Thank God I can fill my time by actually learning the game properly. SanguinaryDan
So.... Any new news on a 2e Von Schill in the last 6 days? I'm as patient as the next plastic crack addict, so I assume enough time has passed to ask again. WHEN?! The following message is brought to you by one of the voices in my head. Or is it my wallet? "Couldn't be happy just playing Guild, could you Dan? Had to look at the Freikorps models didn't ya? Had to order Lazurus and a Trapper and a Specialist! Arrrgh!" SanguinaryDan
Dear Diary, A month has passed and still no word on reinforcements. We grow weary of the blank stares of our old metal comrades. Where in the name of cold hard cash are the plastics?! Take my MONEY!!!!!
Ironmonger
Ummmmm... yeah. What's up with Von Schill and plastics?
Mako
Nothing's ever been said about a release date as far as I know, so I guess if it's not gencon (no idea if it is or isn't) then it'll be in the months following.
Seregon
I really do hope it's out with the rest of the remaining Wave 1 boxes for GenCon. Though I'll gladly wait if it means updated sculpts for the Freikorpsmann and Librarian especially.

I mean what is she even supposed to be doing? Dancing?
Kadeton
Yeah personally my least favorite sculpt from the Friekorps is the librarian. I mean what is she even supposed to be doing? Dancing? She's casting a spell with somatic components. I really like that sculpt - mine is balancing precariously on a broken wall.
Bengt
What's wrong with dancing anyway? Coryphee does it all the time!

Seregon
I'm really quite bummed out with the decision to just rehash the old metal sculpts (as seen from the plastic Freikorpsmann render in WC13). In my mind that's a really poor move.

Seregon
Seeing what happened to Colette and how amazing the original art is, I consider it a big plus, but mileage may vary. New art or not, I at least expected the Freikorpsmann and the Librarian to get new poses instead of their current static ones. I can understand it for such new models as Lenny, but all other new crewboxes has had their main minions tweaked a bit so that the old players could get a few new posed figures if they wanted to expand. This is the first complete copy/paste.
DeleteAccount
Executioner was also a copy paste job, though he also got a buddy. Also, the plastics will be a lot more lean and closer to the art than the metals would ever hope to be.
jonahmaul
I agree that it's a bit of a disappointment that the Freikorps are mostly just ports of their metal versions. I'm glad to see VS himself get a new sculpt as his metal one is the worst miniature in the box but even the new one isn't that great IMHO. It's difficult to justify a buy when the only thing really needed from the box is the trunk.

It's difficult to justify a buy when the only thing really needed from the box is the trunk. This. A crew box for the totem. They did right by switching up the Master model, but why isn't he ripping off his shirt? alt VS better be. One last complaint, the box should be VS, his trunk, Hannah and three friekorpsmen. Then they should done a support pack, a la Nephilim, with trapper, specialist and librarian.... But it's water under the bridge now. They should do "open Betas" for crew box and minion boxes! Mako
I'm glad it doesn't have Hannah in - that means that everyone that is about to get a limited edition sculpt (me included) doesn't end up with two of those if they buy the box. I'm good with the contents, though I wasn't expecting the librarian and trapper to both be there too. But it does mean every freikorps model will be available in plastic in a week or so
jonahmaul
I'm surprised Hannah isn't in there because it's a box without a Henchman which is rare (maybe unique, can't think from the top of my head of any others that don't have a Hench although I'm sure there probably are some?). Not sure that because some people are getting a limited edition sculpt it shouldn't be included in the crew box (sorry Mako!). The current plastics seem to follow a similar pattern of Master, Henchman, Totem plus some minions which this isn't.
