The Genetic Opera, allow me to explain the premise before I get into the main gist of this post. Repo! takes place after the year 2056 in a dystopia where organ failures have wiped out a good portion of the population. A corporation called GeneCo. has a monopoly on replacement organs, which they send to people on loan. If the loan isn't paid back in a relatively short amount of time, the company dispatches a Repo Man to repossess the organ(s) from the loanee. This is generally a very gruesome process. The company is owned by an elderly man with a terminal illness. This man, named Rotti Largo, has 3 children - two sons and a daughter. The eldest son, Luigi Largo, is homicidal and very much prone to anger. The younger son, Pavi Largo, is also fairly homicidal among other things, and generally is seen with a face over his own disfigured one. The youngest sibling, Amber Sweet (a name change from Carmela Largo) is addicted to surgeries. These three and their father are generally seen with a bevy of nurses known in the canon as "Genterns". Well, for the last 2 months I have been staring down my metal McMourning crew with no idea on how to work them in paint besides the typical means. I wanted to do something fun with these ones. Just a few hours ago I decided I should do them in Repo! fashion. I had seen Repo! before, but it was about a year or so ago and it had popped out of my memory since then, sadly. But I found this on YouTube and it resparked the idea. Warning though, it's a tad... gory. I'm really determined to do them up like this Or, if you have other ideas for characters or themes entirely, feel free to chime in. I am doing this with themed models, though, so bear that in mind. Not sure which model you would proxy it with though. Shilo could be made using maybe a metal hollow waif? But, the list seems alittle strange... no room for other models? And also, doesn't Miss Pack use the rules for a Nurse? I mean that you have a lot of support but nothing real to support. Shiloh as Molly (but doesn't work for a crew in M2E since she is a Master and not a henchman); but maybe proxy her for a Rotten Belle Grave Robber as the Alt McMourning Rotti as the Flesh Construct; fashion him a stylish business suit. Of course, dead doxy. Molly is a good choice as well. I don't agree on Rotti, he isn't very tall, nor is he buff. I actually have the intent on taking McMourning in Guild format (I know that omits Rafkin in the end, but I don't really intend to use the crew as it stands in this thread anyway). My list and battle plans are to be listed in another thread. Find them and critique them And ultimately, I want this to be primarily a McM themed crew, so I don't really want belles or bete when it comes down to it... I am not sure I understand the question. I mean to say that I'm not using any models with a theme other than McMourning in specific (so no Belles, and no Mindless Zombies [most likely rather than definitely I'll wager, now that they're more generic Rezzer than Nicodem]). Besides that, I can't even really use Belles or MZs in a Guild McM crew anyhow. Thanks for the brainstorm though! Carasz Posted February 6, 2014 Report Share Posted February 6, 2014 I meant, are you willing to use physical models that are more similar to the movie characters and have them represent other models in your crew. For example, using alternate McMo model but using the rules for Rafkin in game, so that you have a model that kind of looks like The Graverobber, but with the rules of a themed model. Or guild autopsies to represent guild guard, just to keep the esthetic of Repo while playing with the correct rules of guild McMo. This is what's called proxying. The other alternative is buying models that are meant for McMo and just paint/convert them to fit the esthetic of Repo! I am really not sure that I'd use other models.
