WoeIsMe
does plastic cement ( testors in this case) have the same effect on resin as it does the plastic that models are made of? Not sure what kind of plastic that is actually.... --Woe
Fenton Crack
does plastic cement ( testors in this case) have the same effect on resin as it does the plastic that models are made of? Not sure what kind of plastic that is actually.... --Woe I have never heard of it working on resin. Additionally, resins vary in their composition and I'd worry even if it worked on one, it may not work on another?
WoeIsMe
yea wasnt real sure.... i guess candy will just be in a constant state of repair.... her feet are so very tiny there isnt much of a contact point to attach her to said base.... shes already popped off it 3 times, from just being handled, not even gamed with...cant pin her feet and not sure what to do with her at this point... Fenton Crack
I would recommend Zap-A-Gap Medium CA+. I have yet to find a modeling application it did not create a sufficient bond for, despite small surface areas of contact, even the crouching 10 Thunders Archer, who is held firm, even though it is just the toes he is being held on by with a little Zap. nagash13
what if you clipped the heel of her shoes off, and drilled a pin up into her heels, and then a matching hole through the resin. after it is all glued in place, paint the pin to match her shoes and it should look like a little pair of heels. LordDarcy
I've never found a resin that plastic cement works on.
