Kaled's Wife's self-sculpted puppet gremlins

As I think I've mentioned, my wife is a fan of Puppet Wars player, but she's always been frustrated that she only had one Bayou Gremlin and they work best in groups. Since her painting came out so well I suggested she try sculpting a couple of Gremlins. To try to make life easier for her, since she's never sculpted anything before, I found a model cooking pot and a Monopoly shoe, figuring that way she could have the Gremlin sitting in something and would have less to sculpt herself.

In the end she did three (shown here with the one from the game) - I think they turned out really well!

She's also painted the first of them and it looks fantastic and fits in perfectly with the ones that came with the game.

Ok these are awesome. I absolutely LOVE the personality in those little faces.

And from someone that is barely able to green stuff join lines effectively, I can only IMAGINE how much patience and work making these little guys takes. *grin* SO COOL.

Thanks so much! (It's Mrs Kaled here.) They were so fun to make. I thought they'd never look anywhere near as good as the ones you can buy, but then once I painted this guy and put him next to the painted ones I bought I thought you could barely tell. I'll post the other two soon. They're nearly done. :-)

Those are just plain great. The unique character of each of them is well done. I really like the hat on the one in the shoe. Very "real", in puppet form.

Yesterday my wife finished the other two of her sculpted Puppet Gremlins. She's now working on Photoshopping some cards so we can use them in the game;
