Pierowmaniac
Is that reasoning stickied anywhere in the rules forum? Makes more sense (to me) than it being on a blog I didn't even know about. Its more of a personal blog of his than anything official. But its a good one to follow if you do have an interest in the nuts and bolts of game design.
poulpox
I'm happy Wyrd released Errata quickly and officially. I think one of the points was that players would no longer have to refer to forum rulings, and all erratas/FAQ are centralised. I think it shows the company is on the ball. Furthermore, besides a few models, the errata is really minor, and the document is more a FAQ than anything else really, which shows they weren't that many things wrong in the end. In summary, I'm happy
Dracomax
I think the point was that it would be both easier to find rulings, and that old, outdated and obsolete rulings would not keep getting brought up. Also, that it would be easy to know what was the current, official rule, and what was just forum consensus.
Piranhamoose
That said, Nexus was part of the environment in which Neverborn were balanced, and Justin seems to believe that it was a must-take Upgrade. That means that changing Nexus affects the balance of the faction as a whole, and the change has taken place after public playtesting has been completed. Are there going to be more Faction-wide Upgrades? In an interview, they stated that there would be more generic upgrades released in the beta, but they want people to spend adequate time testing new models and model specific upgrades first.
