Copycat basing

OK, this should be obvious but it's got me scratching my head. For the new Red Chapel set, are most of you basing the copycat killer with the bag? If so, how. Or are you using the bag as a decoration on Seamus's base.

thanks

I think it was Omenbringer that recommended using as additional support for the CCK, which seemed like a really good idea, since the scissors look like they could break so easily

Meh. I based the little guy just attaching him by the single scissor point. I did use a resin base, but it's pretty thin so the whole thing seems relatively sturdy.

If you like to use heavier bases, I'd say mount the other scissor blade in something, but if the base is just going to be holding some sand and flock, I'd say just glue it down and be done. It won't be any more fragile then the belles and their tiny barbie feet.

Mines just on the plastic base with my normal sand and gravel basing. I magnetized the Bag so I can put it on his base if I'm using it, and take it off if I'm not. Although to be fair I'll most likely just keep using my original metal Seamus as I still think it's the best of the sculpts for him. I bought the box mainly for Sybelle and to get 3 more belles, as I tend to run Belle Heavy lists supported by the Sinister Reputation, as I really like how the -2 WP makes Seamus the center of a web of nasty slow effects and Lures.

i was thinking of looking around of a corpse model to put on the base, then have the scissor stabbing into the corpse for a more solid mounting option.

The Mindless Zombies pack can provide some good material to work from (I have used two of them to aid in my Skeeter basing seen here and here is my womb bursting Skeeter though). For bones and such (torsos and spines) Reaper has a nice set, though I cant remember the item number.
