Pg 31. states

"It is possible for models to be killed while they are

buried, albeit somewhat rarely. If a model that is buried

is killed, it will not benefit from any abilities that happen

upon the model's death (like Finish the Job)."

Pariah's Soul states

"Pariah's Soul: When this model is killed

or sacrificed, it is not killed or sacrificed.

Remove all Conditions, heal all damage on

this model, and then Bury it instead."

Void Maw states

"Target buried model suffers 2/3/4 damage.

This Attack may only target buried models, and does not require LoS or range. This

Attack may not be used to make disengaging strikes."

So if on kill abilities don't function in the buried penalty box can Void Wretches take Leveticus out of the game permanently?

I'm assuming given the fluff that this is the not intended to work in this fashion but unless I'm missing something that's how it goes.

Actually, I'd guess this is exactly how it's intended to work. If you go by fluff the way that you say, none of the Masters would be capable of being killed. Personally I don't find it such a problem- hard counters exist, and it looks like Levi has one now.

Additionally Levi is back into the second wave beta, so that if this isn't intended the wording on Levi's come back ability can be adjusted to prevent this. Bring this up again once the next beta starts.
