JayBarlekamp
I was hoping the forum would be open already for gratuitous speculation and wishlisting

morella
Me too - such a tease making us wait until May 31!
Nephalumps
Super excited! Everything in the email sounds fantastic, and I'm really looking forward to new rules for some of my favorite models. Can't wait to see Malifaux take the next step forward. Madd props to Wyrd for doing this.
mbowsher76
This is exactly what I was hoping for...very excited!
Agnelcow
Looking forward to the regular FAQ system, and hopefully the rules overhaul will help clarify some existing weirdness/make things run more smoothly. So long as my existing models aren't completely obsoleted, I'm excited.
Big Ned
That'll be a big book. I'm loking the soind of streamlined rules. That's always been my biggest gripe with the rules manual.
Curropepe
I just want to know if any current model will be obsoleted. I hope no old model loses its flavour... PS: Also, updated cards for 1st edition models will be available, right?
JayBarlekamp
The most important part is obviously the fact that Gremlins are now their own faction. Precisely what true original inhabitants of Malifaux deserve. More Gremlin masters, more inbred goodness!
wizdom
Great timing, as I'm just getting into Malifaux right now. I don't have to really learn a new ruleset, just take my time learning the old one and wait for the new stuff to roll in. And I'll be at GenCon this year, so I'll have to check out the release! decker_cky
I'm thinking it will have to be released as a book of rules and a different book of profiles to update everything. Updating all the profiles in a single book along with the background and rules would be a lot of content.
Tuttleboy
Open beta should be fun. ...and I guess this is why it seems to have been a bit quiet on the Gencon rumor front. Edited April 30, 2013 by Tuttleboy
dgraz
How about that preview art? She looks super creepy.
Victoria
SWEEEEET! I was worried I would run out of things to buy. Between my husband and I, we've just got Zoraida and McMourning to go. Very exciting!!
Forar
I'm calling shenanigans. ... I just felt like saying shenanigans. I'm sure shenanigans will be involved somewhere along the way.
Wicked Lance
Prediction: Critical Strike/Flay/Brutal/Things that do +1 DMG per suit will become a single rule like Critical [insert Suit Here.]
zanntos
Just saw the email, I'm super excited, can't wait to try out the new rules
Orboros
This may have single-handedly saved my Malifaux scene from drowning in the Warmahordes community. Now i have to make a wishlist with things i want and bombard the open beta forums with it. Thanks Wyrd for making a big step in the right direction! Sway
If every model is getting updated rules, perhaps we'll see a single Rules Manual and faction books to give us model stats? And I think it's a given that updated cards will be made available for purchase. They already sell updated cards so the precedent is there. I have to say I'm nervous. Sure Malifaux as is has some obtuse rulings and there are certainly some models that are could stand to be upgraded. So if this is updated Malifaux that still plays like current Malifaux (i.e. D&D 3.0 to 3.5) then I'll be ecstatic. If it's a truly new version of Malifaux (i.e. D&D 3.5 to 4E) then I'll be cautiously optimistic. Still, in Wyrd I trust. I can't wait for May 31st! Jewomie
No faction books! i would rather pay $70.00 for everything in one place then to have to buy different books for each faction. :/
Tim Schmidt
Hmmmm... How do I get on the newsletter? I can't seem to find anything in my email regarding this. Share!
SpiralngCadavr
Really excited about this, and agree that, esp. with Malifaux's highly overlapping factions, a master book makes more sense than faction books...
