Evilbleachman Posted January 22, 2013 Report Posted January 22, 2013 Looks pretty cool! I actually finished assembling/converting mine yesterday. I will start painting mine up in about a week. :3 Love the model. So many hands and feet. Quote
i_was_like_you Posted January 22, 2013 Report Posted January 22, 2013 Is 29 actually supposed to be clapping with those two central arms? That's even creepier. It means there's a far more malevolent intelligence lurking in there than we ought to expect. Quote
Evilbleachman Posted January 22, 2013 Report Posted January 22, 2013 I just now noticed! lol I do dislike those arms though. I stole some conversion ideas from this guy on youtube and tossed in some creepy guys in the belly area instead of some regular hands. Mine also has an actual head instead of an embedded skull. I did never understand why there was a third arm in the pack either. No clue where to put it. D: Quote

I still haven't purchased most of the avatars yet, but I've been close to buying Simulacrum 29 and aNicodem twice at my LGS recently. I think I'll save them for those lean months we might have ahead of us, between the release of Yan Lo in February and Gencon in August. Quote
Evilbleachman Posted January 22, 2013 Report Posted January 22, 2013 There isn't a spot in the back actually. The model's drawing actually has the arm coming out of its shoulder. There isn't a hole for you to place it into though. :0 Plus these are the arms used on the Insidious Madness model. Just FYI. Quote

Not as lame as there only being three piglet sculpts, and the stuffed piglets being the same sculpts but with explosives tacked on, but close. I think with the transition to plastic, we ought to start seeing a lot more variety in sculpts, especially when it comes to things like Steampunk Abominations or Canine Remains or Guild Hounds, where we might need more than just a few sculpts. That, and the proxy / conversion rules are the main reason I haven't touched Hamelin the Plagued. I'm not going to buy super expensive rat packs, when I already have a bulk pack of them from some other company. Quote
Evilbleachman Posted January 22, 2013 Report Posted January 22, 2013 I'd like to see a Hamelin player pop up and table 5000 points of Warhammer fantasy Skaven as his rat friends. XD Worst thing you can do is always just paint the same model differently. I use four Rotten Belles and have two identical models but painted them very differently. This is getting off topic though! XD NICE "29"!!!! Quote

Evilbleachman Posted January 22, 2013 Report Posted January 22, 2013 Sure is. Maybe paint a couple Beckoners as Belles. Damn you and your ideas. >.> I miiiiight just do this. A little green stuff around the face to give it a dead look... :0 Quote
i_was_like_you Posted January 22, 2013 Report Posted January 22, 2013 I was considering using some of the other Guild mistresses as Belles or Doxies, and to go along with my Dead Justice set for Brawls. Quote
Evilbleachman Posted January 22, 2013 Report Posted January 22, 2013 I do have an undead Hoffman planned as I will run him with Levi sometime for poops and giggles. Might work on other models and make a small Lady J undead crew for funsies. Some guild hounds, two austringers and the one or other minion should be enough. Quote
