Is Huggy a valid selection for framed for murder? If so does it matter if you bring him back after the fact?

Also if you flip the Ace of Masks for intiative does that counted as a 1 or a Red Joker. I had this happen twice in 1 game.

If I understand correctly, Ace of Masks only counts as a Red Joker when flipped or played by Jacob. Jacob isn't flipping initiative, you are, so it's an ace.

I don't see any reason why the Hippo can't be a Frame for Murder target; it's a non-master model (technically) and the scheme states it has to be killed by an opposing master, not that it has to stay dead. I could be wrong, though.

Believe Frame for Murder is a Mjnion. Hungering Darkness is a Totem, and Totems are not Minions.

"Secretly note one non-Master model in your Crew."

"Score 1 VP if the noted model was killed or sacrificed by an opposing Master during the Encounter."

That was my thinking, but its non-Master model. This allows totems to be selected for it.

So by that wording, If a henchman was not the master of the crew you could frame for murder him/her/it as well?

On a side note, in a slaughter game, how many stones if any does huggy give if slain?

The last game I played, this question came up, and we deceided it was 0 as his card did not have a SS cost.

Bit of a downer if true. It was not easy taking it down.

Read the card again. It explicitly states he is worth 0ss for strategys and schemes. It's very very clear.

And to the OP. When a model dies and you summon a new one, it's not the same model. Even if the model is unique, it's not the same model returning. It's a new version of the model. An effect put on the model that lasts the entire encounter would no longer be in effect. A strategy or scheme requiring the model not to be in game would be fulfilled, whereas one that requires it to live would have failed.

I like to think of it as an object in an objective based program. You caused the program to spawn a new instance of an object, it has the same functions and stuff as the old object did, but it's still not the same object.
