Updates and Clarification of Prizes

Currently the top 3 prizes are;

The player who achieved the highest single day score at the end of the six week league will win a $30 dollar Games Plus gift certificate and a Malifaux Box Set of their choice.

The players who achieve the top two overall accumulated scores at the end of the six week league will win a $30 dollar Games Plus gift certificate and a Malifaux Box Set of their choice.

New prize level;

The first player to fulfill 99% of the achievement boxes on a single day score sheet will receive an Avatar of their choice. (You do not have to accomplish playing against all 6 of the factions since we may not have all factions represented on a given day) Your games cannot be smaller than 25 stones and your achievement score sheet must be verified and signed off by each of your opponents. You can choose any of the weekly achievement sheets that are available.

Any player who did not win one of the top 3 prizes AND scores at least 85 achievement points over the course of the six week league will win a $10 dollar Games Plus gift certificate.

New Rule

Games that are going to be scored for achievement league purposes cannot start any later than 5:45pm and last activation will be called at 7:15pm.

Its awesome to see the results of this event, even if I haven't been able to participate at all in it (stupid, stupid work schedule changed, conflicting with any chance of me making it out).

I am on vacation this week though, and I plan on heading out to the spots to get some games in.

Joe Deheve returned from South Beach with a tan and a spring in his step. He was able to recover some lost ground despite Dan Morrison's best efforts to keep a good man down. Vince was content with a casual gaming day and wanted to give the others a fighting chance at the leader spot.

FYI

There has been a slight schedule change do to the fact Games Plus was unable to provide me with any tables for Saturday February 16th & 23rd. They were already loaded with tournaments for those two days.

Week 5 is going to be played on February 11th and 12th from 5pm-9pm.

Week 6 is going to be played on February 18th and 19th from 5pm-9pm.

We usually play 8+ hours on a Saturday so we are going to have to split up that time over two consecutive evenings on two seperate weeks.

Thanks

Joe D. took advantage of Vince's absence this week and recaptured the overall lead. With the final week on the horizon, who will emerge victorious?

Can Vince return and recapture his 42 mojo? Will Joe D. prove once and for all that he IS the leagues overachiever? Will another Joe sneak up and stun the competition? Is Dan truly ready to be a champion?

Stay tuned...........
