Alternate models for Night Terrors?

Hi there,

I've tried the search function and could not find a thread that covered this topic so I decided to start one.

I've gotten a blister of night terrors, and although they are very nice, I'm not to keen on fielding identical models if i want to use more then 2 in a game.

Can anyone suggest an appropriate alternative for more night terrors in a game?

Not great pics, but I converted me some Beastmen Harpies out of Ghoul, Ungor and Tyranid Gargoyle bits. Could prolly work for Night Terrors, even if they're not identical to the original sculpts.

If you use just one pair of wings per nightterror, they should be pretty easy to convert into more different models.

I bent the legs and wings on my second blister of night terrors. Doesn't help with the cards, but adds a decent amount of variety to the models.

Thanks! I'll look into the Titan forge bats first, and if I ever turn to the dark side and cheese with a more then 4 night terror list with the Dreamer, I'll try my hand at converting!

I have a bunch of Mid-Nor Reapers by Rackham that I will use for Night Terrors. I've always said, if Malifaux had Rackham minis, it would be the perfect skirmish game for me

Wyrd's own Imps from their Twisted collection could also serve nicely.

There certainly are, but it all depends on whether or not you plan to play in any tournaments and what the TOs of said tournaments say.

I was the same way (wanting more then 2 but not looking the same) so I just tore the wings of a Shikome...turned out alright in my opinion

Altho the Shikome got the short end of the stick (wing?)

I'm not a fan of the chibi-ish Shikome, but I really like the bigger wings on the Night Terror.

i've got a bunch of warhammer Chaos Furies that i think i'll use as night terrors. Not the greatest models ever i guess, but neither are night terrors imho.
