Math Mathonwy Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 Huge congrats to all who finished! I feel that the overall level was extremely high with some utterly ridonculous performances. Very well done. The contest was fun and it really shows how much one can do if one is determined, has a clear plan and a strict deadline. I really suggest people try this - a nice change of pace (har har) but you also get a quick sense of accomplishment. Not to mention a painted mini for the gaming table! Quote
ttsgosadow Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 So hard to choose! Silly how beautiful you guys can paint a model in just one hour. A big feather for all of you! Quote
Mister Monkey Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 Is was great seeing them all roll in over the weekend but damn they look impressive in a long line like that..... Fantastic work to all the competitors... Quote
Agermemnon Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 Well done to all who took part, voting wasn't easy and to think you cracked them out in an hour..... skills, enough said. Quote
MAC Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 Hello ! This means congratulations to everyone. Works were beautiful. It is a long time Friday. So exciting week ahead of us. MAC Quote
edonil Posted January 14, 2013 Author Report Posted January 14, 2013 Great to see all the votes coming in! It'll be interesting to see where things end up. Once again, thanks for competing everyone. Quote
Viruk Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 Tough choice but in the end my votes go to Demonn - painting three minis in an hour, regardless of how complex or not they are is an achievement in itself and it deserves some recognition. I also really like Gujozec's Jack Daw - the pale color scheme suits this mini really well. And another one goes to Mister Shine - just... amazing to be able to finish this monster so quickly. Still, once again - congrats to everyone who finished on time as it's an achievement in itself! Quote
Gadrean Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 Big thumbs up to all these mini's, i couldn't paint to the standard of most of these if you gave me a month let alone an hour. great job everyone who took part. Quote
Victoria Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 Hooray! I'm so happy to have gotten any votes at all! Quote
theJudge Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 I cannot believe we are currently in a tie situation.. Quote
edonil Posted January 17, 2013 Author Report Posted January 17, 2013 Oddly enough, for all the improv involved with this contest, I have a plan for that eventuality... Quote
Peterdita Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 I cannot believe we are currently in a tie situation.. Hey, quit making the last place people feel guilty! Quote
edonil Posted January 18, 2013 Author Report Posted January 18, 2013 Looks like the plan for that 'tie' scenario may need to come into play after all... O.o Wasn't expecting that at all. Although I'm starting to think some people started voting for both models just to see what my plan is! Quote
Peterdita Posted January 18, 2013 Report Posted January 18, 2013 Ha! (I voted for everyone besides myself) I bet shipping the prize would be a lot cheaper for Demonn if the other Croatian won My vote is a tie with the prize going to the person he can hand it to. Who really needs a winner anyway? Contest for fun. Quote
