Where did the blogs go?

There were blogs, now there aren't. Are other people still seeing them? Did other people ever see them? Is there an announcement that I've missed? Did the content disappear forever or can it be accessed somehow? Am I going bonkers?

I think there was an issue with unsolicited advertorials (spam to you and me).

I assume(and this is a guess), they are offline while they sort the issue out.

I just had to delete 4500 spam accounts and 14000 spam comments from a Drupal site hosted on the server I manage, so I feel your pain. Silly site admin forgetting to secure Drupal.

Likely - though we'll probably end up having to completely clear them as they got fubared pretty good and until we find a fix for it, they are going to remain offline.

It's on the list - just its a long list.

It struck me that a fair few folk (especially those without the benefit of years) might be unaware where the term SPAM came from.
