Ikka Posted January 7, 2013 Report Posted January 7, 2013 Just bought the box sets of both Dreamer and Collodi, plus a blister of Day Dreams and Teddy. Mainly picked up Collodi because I want to do a paint scheme with him that will flow into the Dreamer crew, looking like part of the Dreamer's Earth-world toys that have come across to "play." I haven't played in a while, and my normal crews are Lady J/Viks+Freikorps, so I'm wondering how the Dreamer really plays, and whether Collodi really works together with him. I know that Collodi can be really fast, but I'm not really sure about the synergy between the two. Any help? Quote
Shadowopal Posted January 8, 2013 Report Posted January 8, 2013 The real synergies come from Teddy and Stitched with Collodi. Collodi doesn't offer much to the dreamer and nightmares. But it's not a horrible pairing, Just tough to decide where to put your points. Quote

Mainly Collodi works well with any Neverborn master because he can go and do his own thing by warping all around the board, making all his puppets fast, and shaving minions down with lots of 1 Dg while capturing points. Tiaden Posted January 8, 2013 Report Posted January 8, 2013 I already thought of something like this too. Neverborn Crew - 35 - Scrap The Dreamer -- 8 Pool 3 Daydreams [6ss] Collodi [8ss] Marionette [2ss]Marionette [2ss]Marionette [2ss]Marionette [2ss]Stitched Together [5ss]Stitched Together [5ss] As already mentioned Collodi is great at just warping around and doing stuff like Reclaim Malifaux. On the + side you get a decent amount of activations out of the 3 Daydreams and the Marionettes so you are not forced to engage with the Dreamer while the enemy can still react. If you need to take something down the 2 Stitched start to get tremendeously good if you debuff the enemy with (0) Inflict Dreams from the Dreamer and get Collodi in range for his Puppet Master Ability, or even buff them with (2) Puppet Show. As long as the enemy is not Immune to Influence you should get him down and even enemy Masters should run through their Soulstones very fast. But this idea is still not tested. Quote
Ozz Posted January 8, 2013 Report Posted January 8, 2013 Basically what Tiaden said, the dreamer and LCB do their own thing, with the daydreams adding plenty of activation's, and moving the Stitched together around to keep up with collodi as he gets objectives, whilst the dreamer flys after the threats and lets LCB have some lunch:) It works in theory, but i have never yet tried it in practice and so i am not 100% on this:) Quote
