Working on my alt rasputina base and have this. I want to hollow out the base and install a led underneath to shine up through the glass and resin. Any ideas on how to do it?

and yes the glass is very sharp. I have cut myself repeatedly. I plan on slapping some gloss varnish to make it less dangerous

drill, but that led wont be so easy i think you need 1 spot to hold that led. and a bigger hole to put the rest.

and with the glass, i would say gasburner, but since there is some resin, nvm about that

A high speed dremel tool with a sanding/ buffing wheel should help smooth out the glass and make it less of a safety hazard.

The Led shouldn't be that difficult of a job as it looks as if you have more than enough room for the bulb battery. If you want something that could be easily adapted (bashed) then take a look at electric tea lights (from the crafty stores like Micheals). They will have everything you need (excepting a blue led that you'll need to replace the red one they have) to make a flickering Ice pillary base.
